which one did you like better? and what were the main
differences between the two in your opinion?

thanks

I prefered Untilted. I just found the production to be
warmer and the overall sound to be more meaty. It seemed
more playful and fun too.

However, I still prefer Reniform Puls to anything on either
records.

tough one.

to me every track on both albums is five star.

so i guess if draft has more tracks it has more five stars,
or something like that.

i'll shut up now.

Untilted is better, first of all more coherent, more direct,
not tiresome and verbose like draft, the rythm is more
compact.

Minuses: it lacks space, an the production is... odd, I`m
not convinced.

Draft was an excellent release... allthough with quite a
lack in warmth.
Their great melodies are kind of missing in there. I think
it made a great contribution to electronic music though.
Draft kind of represented the No limit nor rules thing
imo...

Untilted is a masterpiece. I can't get enough of it. This
release had everything i love about electronic music. it's a
little more accesible than Draft. And has some awesome
twists and turns...

Overall... i prefer Untilted... :)

[indecisive paragraph contrasting both albums in a

MMmmm good music.

forgot the overused humour.

To me, draft has an uneasy terrain. And untilted is like
34th century building blueprints.

I enjoy both a lot

but for some reason I prefer untilted... cos draft was more
like confield, and right after it... so it didnt surprise me
much... eventhough with time it caught me in its warmth...

but untilted was like a surprise... and it is so new
sounding, and so oldschool at the same time... so funky
and... I dont know... very very playable

untitled brings more warmer sound in ae music if compare
with other last releases so what many fans were needed
all tracks on lp8 just force u to listen them everyday
but surripere or reniform puls are still great and eternal
ones

you don't find first 4 minutes of surripere to be one of
best music bits in history of music? :)

confield, 1/3 of draft 7.30 and untilted are all pretty
great..i hope aphexes new album is going to top untilted
though!

get ready to wait another 5years or so... we already had

5 tracks

My brother had some of those "Top of the Pops" albums, I
remember one where the cover girl is in some electric blue
boob tube or something, and another red one where some high
heeled lass is drinking a milkshake, or something, out of
either a very bendy glass or straw or both. I'm sure The
Vapours' "Turning Japanese" was in there somewhere.

Actually, reading that back I don't remember hardly anything
at all. I wonder if he still has them?

I think I prefer Draft because of
the album structure/pacing. It has sections, it changes
pace, so it is more interesting in that regard. Untilted is
a real straight shot through the album.
nothing sounds quite like Draft
Untilted is great, it's like an updated take on
Cichlisuite/LP5. Just personally I prefer Draft.

i still don't like draft as much as confield, personally.
it just doesn't blow me away the same way confield does. i
need to listen to it a lot more - i'm not confident in my
appraisal of draft. so far, i enjoy untilted more than
draft, but i won't say which album i think is better.

draft has waaaay better art/packaging.

untilted is so far off from draft it's not even applicable.

there are hardly any meldoies

hardly any hip hop beats

too repetitive (i understand they took a look backwards with
this album)

no, draft is by far the greatest work they've released to
the public in album form.

of tracks on each album i like. but i like all of untilted.
so there.

warmer production does not = better production. necesserily.
i for one love the very digital exact sound of draft.
everything is very distinct and clear. untilted seems to be
a bit muddled.
