The first of the Analords to sport those crazy trojan virus
names. Will this signal some shift in the sound, a different
style? Or not? My groundless speculation leads me to believe
they will be... slightly different.

I hope the virus tracks will bring about a new sound...but
who knows with dickie...maybe they'll get lamer....like just
a simple drum beat with a farty 303 line every 20 beats.

(one every two weeks...)

Yes dear, but that ear-rational site linked above by young
Jivver seemed to suggest 7, 8, 9 and 11 were out 17th May.
Or is that them just guessing?

"simple drum beat with a farty 303 line every 20 beats"

if you add a few bleeps and stock afx pads thats pretty much
70% of the series so far... i think sonically it was quite
interesting up until 3 came out because they all sounded
well different, ie 2 fatter dubby beats, 1 a bit hyper with
fast acid shiznit and the more overtly aphex stylings of 10,
but 3-6 all sound a bit similar really, save klob job.

it's them guessing. and it's wrong. it's just there so
desperados will per-order the records from them. it's been
there weeks.

offline thecrimsonguard from ∞ (United States) on 2005-04-12 15:02 [#01562890]

to me though thats what parts 1&2 are dull. if you call
part 1 a 'bit hyper with fast acid shiznit' well to me thats
just really slow shit. they are bland compaired to 3-6&10.
just my opinion. doesn't mean i hate them...they're going
to be good for mixing down the line...but if the guys
claiming to be the 'analord' he better start showing some
improvement in his tracks.
