Danceable it ain't, but as a think-piece, it's very
effective.

Ah sorry, yes, I had to refreshhhh

closing masterpiece "Sublimit" – reminiscent of
Tortoise's "Djed" in its multipart Teutonic structure

Hurrah for gratuitous name-dropping!

I thought the joke would be that the music on the release
would be completely different. But the joke is that it is
the same. Gotcha!

Shame about the revolting artwork. I mean really, it is shit
imho.

No. I. Don't.

The more I stare at it the more revolting it looks.

Maybe I should stop staring at it.

Look at it really loudly and maybe you'll be able to force
yourself to like it!

simon says like it

offline CS2x from London (United Kingdom) on 2005-03-23 07:08 [#01541565]
Points: 5079 Status: Lurker

Thanks, I'll try that.

btw, I don't see what was so ridiculous about suggesting
that listening to Untilted loudly makes it more enjoyable.
It works with Merzbow, after all. Quietly, that sounds like
crap. Loudly, it makes me feel like someone is hitting my
head with a hammer and trying to kill me with noise (a
painfully fun experience really.)

offline Bob Mcbob on 2005-03-23 07:11 [#01541571]

i was kinda hoping that untilted would be better than
hitting yourself over the head with a hammer

offline CS2x from London (United Kingdom) on 2005-03-23 07:13 [#01541572]

It is!

It's a nice album. It's like Ae having a jam or something. I
still dislike Fermium and LCC though.

I actually can't stand Merzbow most of the time, although in
altered states of conciousness it's nice in a scary way.

So its really being called 'untitled'... how lame.

I like the artwork though. I look foward to downloading the
hell outta this album and never buying it... maybe

no actually it will be called 'untilted'...but you were very
close...youve earned the right to sit on santas' lap, but
you are not allowed to ask him for anything

Fact, I was reading it as 'untitled' until this post when I
realised it is actually called 'untilted'. I think that blew
my mind.

I still love the record, but that art really does suck. It
looks like it was created by an amateur graphic designer
circa 1996.

I like the art a lot; it has great character and I like the
colour combinations, also it's mysterious. But I dislike LCC
and Fermium immensley.

i strongly dislike the cover art... i think it's really
ugly like a men's clothing advert gone awry. i've only
heard the track playing on warp's site... it sounds ok.
i'm going to buy this as soon as it comes out. i'm still
looking forward to hearing this one a lot.

shitty scan anyway.

sorry but im sure the more i think about the leak the more
it doesnt add up. fermium and lcc vs pro raadi? theyre
worlds apart for me. and even then pro raadi uses
samples!!!???

LCC ending ....

have you even listened to LCC all the way through?

3minutes and on .. whew :)

Points: 3718 Status: Lurker | Followup to elusive: #01541618

LCC ending yes, but it's 3 minitues of torture until then
that taints it for me, and even so I don't dig the melody et
al that much. Maybe I should just shutup and be more
patient.

This is great! I completely remember saying that this was
legit. Then florecent grey tried to claim to make the fake.
According to me there wasnt a fake because i had the real
leak.

I think this is great because of all the people holding on
to their dreams that it was because they were personally
disappointed in what the leak brought them. Arguing that
"warp is playing a fake track to throw us off!!!1"

HA!

Moving along... the release party will be at Qrters. Yes
anyone can go, but if you do you have to bring
something. I will quick make a list of what i know everyones
bringing so we dont have repeats.

Fleetmouse - Hotdogs
R40f- Chips and salsa
JAroen - Diet Pepsi
pOgO - 2oz of pot
xceque - those little finger food thingies
giginger - A cake with a (surprise)
weatheredstoner - Shrimp wrapped in bacon and blackened

ok?
