CS2x: well, yes, of course high volume makes some music sound better. i wasn't thinking of Merzbow or Autechre though. dariusgriffin: unless it's silver instead of grey or something like that (and even so), it's quite easy to judge even from the shitty scan here... the design is simple enough. personally i don't like it, looks like a shitty design for sportswear and even shittier for an album cover. but i like the track playing at warprecords.com. |

so ive heard the music and seen the artwork well its good, the music is top notch and the artwork is nothing special, but at least for me - the artwork has never been an important piece of owning the album - and it certainly does not have any affect on the music but yes, it is nothing special and in fact looks rather amatuerish |

If this truly is AE then it sounds like they're cutting their teeth on new software. Also, the level of detail is amazing as is the beats(especially for Augmatic Disport and Sublimit) but the quality of the timbre isn't as novel and alien as their other albums. I always thought of AE as gap fillers; using their imaginations to make sounds no one else would think of. But this... well, it sounds familiar. Maybe it's because there are alot more people approaching their level and doing interesting things causing AE to have a slighter impact on me. There's still a slim chance that some or all of these tracks aren't on the album but if their legit then, oh well. |
