For my speech class I'm going to be giving an informative
speech on some of the history of electronic music. I've
decided to use a small sound sample to try to demonstrate
how varied electronic music can actually be. Only problem
is, this has got to be really short.

So far I've got this: .wav linky

What do you think? What would you put in it?

I realize this is pretty inadequate, but I'm working with
what I've got and it's due tomorrow morning.

I'd put less samples, it's so fast I can't recognize any of
those songs.

Why is it only audible in the right channel?

I'd really love to stretch it out to a few minutes in
length, but this is a speech I'm giving. I might be able
to get another ten seconds in, but I don't think the
teacher's going to like it.

songs are:

Frozen Rabbit - Purification Process
Pete Namlook + Mixmaster Morris - School of Fish
Wolf Eyes - Village Oblivia
Twilight Circus Dub Sound System - Dub Blast
Kraftwerk - Computer World
Autechre - Ccec
Karlheinz Stockhausen - Kontacte
Morton Subotnick - Silver Apples of the Moon
Orbital - Impact USA

How about you talk over the top of it?

Don't put it on too loud and it's perfectly feasible.
