i still really want to know what her speech is about. i highly doubt that she has actually *written* a speech. i predict that if she actually says anything, it will be reading (assuming she knows how to) from some text somebody else wrote. i imagine she will be delivering a speech about nuclear physics or computer science, probably. |

haha, well, i don't know her, and i never saw her on tv or read anything she wrote or any interview she had. the only thing i saw was that porn video and that was like not enough to get the idea how smart she is..but i suppose she had best teachers, went to best schools - isn't that common with rich kids? so perhaps she can't be that dumb + she's got her own tv show or something? what i think is, she will speak of reponsibilities that come along with being a young rich person..perhaps pop life or something..remember, they have classes about david beckham in uk so it can't really get any more silly. |

ok, well said. the only thing is that "better" education does not in any way determine intelligence. there are undoubtedly some smarter kids in terrible schools than some of the most priveliged kids in great schools. it seems that one of the benefits of attending a prestigious school is the fact that they want you to do well so that you won't mar their school's reputation. therefore, they make more allowances for certain students who are idiots or don't work hard. even if you don't believe all that (i can't prove any of it - just a personal observation), i still maintain that the years one invests into a formal education does not in any way legitimize them or prove their intelligence. |

sure, i completly agree on that, i don't know if she's intelligent or not (don't care really), but i thought those schools had best teachers or something - we only have public schools here so i can't tell the difference.. but i thought they'd be able to afford the best teachers although on the 2nd thought those best teachers probably wouldn't want to teach on elitist schools like that..hmm..she's still probably smarter than i am, but im not having a speech on that college :) |

sure, probably the "best" schools have the "best" teachers. i'm not sure what that means but it sounds logical to me. i guess they can afford the "best" of everything. i don't think paris hilton is smarter than you, tolstoyed. i would be surprised if she's smarter than your dog. :) |

yes, it's not a question whether they can afford it or not, but i think some of those best teachers still prefer to be in touch with reality, real people, and not a bunch of spoiled brats :) (j/k hehe) as for her smartness..i can't judge, i don't know her, she doesn't look too smart, and since that sex tape is the only thing i saw her talk in it isn't very valid since we all look silly when we have sex. |
