sore throat

every time I swallow or breathe too hard my throat delivers
to me the pain of a thousand deaths. I have ODed on
strepsils and exhausted my supply of Beechams hot drinks,
when I sleep the swallowy pain awakens me.

Cry for me

I had strep throat about two years ago to the date. I felt
so bad, I wanted to snuff it. You don't realize how much you
take for granted swallowing until that happens.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Get to a doctor and fill up on
antibiotics.

Haha yeah. Also, I find I can often go up to about 30
seconds without swallowing, but when I'm in the grip of a
sore throat it's more like every 5.

I've had two surgery operations done, because of a sore
throat. trust me, the pain you have now is nothing compared
to the pain you will feel after the surgery. and it last for
two weeks.

I tried whisky last night, that wasn't good. That milk thing
sounds like a laff.
