I don't see any in that collection.... I also wouldn't have
any in my collection. Unless the ochre remix is in there...
Hmm

I have at least 85% of that, and the actual vinyl/cd's also,
so nanananehneh

what's the point of posting a list of illegal and
copyrighted material on a site semi-dedicated to richard d.
james?

but there is a possibility they aren't illegal. it could
well be that he ripped most of the stuff (perhaps not the
really rare stuff) from his own cds/vinyl.

i have everything he's released in mp3. and i own every
release of his that isn't impossible to get. some of the
mp3s are ripped, most of them are downloaded (i had to
'cause last year i lost all of my aphex collection). i have
paid him/them the money for i, so it isn't illegal.

if i posted a screencap of my aphex mp3 collection would you
say i was showcasing illegal stuff?

nope don't think so, nothing illegal about it. and i think
rare unavailable stuff is OK to download.

so really, you can't proof that he doesn't own the releases.

Well, the point is, ... what is the point in putting a list
of MP3s of Aphex material, why don't I take a photo of my
tapes from the early 90s that had RDJ on? If you're making a
comprehensive list of AFX tracks as a discography then sure,
go ahead, but a list of your dodgy MP3s, and I guarantee 12
year old twatface rbss hasn't bought a single record, is a
pointless and shitty thing to do.

"what is the point in putting a list
of MP3s of Aphex material,"

whether there's a point or not is not relevant. phobia is
accusing him of showing illegal material. he most likely is
right, but there is a SLIGHT possiblity that he rightfully
owns these releases. there's no hard proof for copyright
violation.

if you have got half a brain you'll notice all the names
matches the common sousleek list you get when you search for
'aphex' or 'afx', so IMO there is not doubt possible :D

I especially enjoyed seeing you have some great lost
material like "Pikachi Mothafucka" , "Terminator 3" and the
classic "Homer's Donut Odyssey", all vintage RDJ tracks
worth adding to the discography.

I still think that usually it better to own the cd's anyway
because alot of mp3 floating around is really shitty rips
and sound crap basically. At least with CD's, you're
assured of the quality or whatever... and I like the artwork
and having a physical Aphex Twin collection as opposed a
iPod and a bunch of files made of bits and bytes.. meh

Like wow, who cares what mp3's you downloaded. Plus you
have a bunch of fake ones and it's poorly organized. You
suck.
