Originally the idea was to add value to the 'domestic' release in each territory (US, Japan etc) so that people would buy that instead of the import version, landing more money to the local operation. I think in Japan the domestic version is still more expensive than the import? |

i've had the chance to listen to "Pro Radii"... from the forthcomming Autechre (aw-tek-er) album "untilted"... and i have to say that this song is very much the best i've heard this year so far.... No need to question if it's them or not... it's bloody obvious.. no-one can do these things but them.... This album will be a true revelation... Analord will be nothing compared to untilted.... like comparing Radiohead with Christina Aguilera.... I can't wait for the release.... i will get another track if i can... but that's it... i want it to be a surprise... and i want to fell the excitment of the very first time you put an autechre album in your stereo.. |

mind you, he never said where he heard it... pro radii is the same length on both leaks. some new "theories" have it that tracks 1 & 3 (pro radii) were included with filler that was given to specific journalists whom autechre had suspected would leak this release. why all artists release albums with bonus tracks when in Japanese versions? Why "Medrey" was only for The Country of the Rising Sun? is that necessary? artists & labels, stop this shit. release everything everywhere. the more = the better.
