what a nice surprise. :D Digitonal - no! it's not about the same record over and over, it's always about quality! and it's not the violins, it's the shitty way you use them. i'm curious though, since the violin does carry the whole thing, what is it that you play in the band? if you wrote the melodies, that's one thing (not that they're good melodies anyways), but if the violin player wrote them and then you showed up to throw some clicks and bleeps in, then it should have been whoever the violin player is FEATURING digitonal, not digitonal FEATURING whoever that guy was. also, this refers to 23 things, because i heard that maris stella song and decided not to give you another chance :) and toytronic never was my favorite label. well generally i like more melodic music anyways, so i don't know what you're talking about with this beat cutting shit. i just think that strings waaaay are overused. unless you have THE LINE to go with them, it's the easy way out -- basically your music sounds like an over-emotional soundtrack to a high school prom. don't worry, it's not just you. it's the new yellowtone, it's lexauncaulpt...but these guys don't come on here and act like they're the shizz. i basically hate you because of the message board. i mean, it was a bad record, but there are TONS of bad records. i just think about it more often because you're always on here checking yourself out. besides, who am i (other than a BITTER hick from madison) and why would you care enough to make a thread about me? i'm supposed to be the snotty music fan here! usually you don't see artists bother with this sort of thing. if you like what you're doing, keep doing it by all means! it shouldn't matter what i say! anyways, i will now use this thread to say whatever i want tolstoyed: still waiting for the analords in the mail, boomkat has been slow and i didn't order them until last week. epohs: i like dr pepper, ryan likes mountain dew -- i think mountain dew is gross |
