Downloading the mix now. Looks to be a great track
selection off the top of my head....not too mention you have
what is probably my favorite song ever in 'Merck' by Balil.

heard before. Merck being one of them. you're awesome! :D

i'm gonna check out your other mixes for sure.

This is as good as it gets. People reminicsing, discovering
and enjoying. I'm pleased that so many people got something
out of an hours worth of playing records. Thank you all
again.

I downloaded this and another from your site, and will grab
the others shortly! Great work--thanks man!

Wow, thanks so much for this. The mixes are very nice; you
are a good dj, and I love your choices even though I'm not
that familiar with the older school stuff.

On this mix in particular, I love the first song, Threefold,
when that breakbeat comes in and then the beautiful
melody...

But then I grabbed your Futuretro mix, and towards the end
when that Motion Control song comes in (after AFX: .215061 -
excellent choice again)... I couldn't believe that it's
wasnt a SAWII remix or something! Anyway I loved this song
so much that I tracked it down (on discogs):

Limited release on Yellow Vinyl, part 6 of 6 of 7" releases
from the Beatservice compilation Artctic Circles 2.

"Strawberries" written by: Jostein Dahl Gjelsvik, Oddgier
Hvidsten & Lars Kristian Sande.
"Digits 2" written by: Oddgier Hvidsten & Lars Kristian
Sande

User Comments & Reviews:

This was the final installment in Beatservice's "Arctic
Circles" seven-inch series, where every release was issued
on coloured vinyl in a limited edition of 200 copies. And
this little piece of plastic rounded off this series in a
brilliant fashion, as Mind Over Midi's remix of "Digits 2"
is an absolutely superb, haunting piece of deep moody
techno. It's a shame that this treasure was hidden away on
this obscurity and was never made available elsewhere, as it
easily eclipses a lot of the "regular" releases on this
label. Deserves the "trainspotter's wet dream" status more
than many of the Skam releases, if you ask me.

And so, I tracked down there website and have recieved
confirmation that it's en route! w00t!

Although I dont have a player I have recently developed a
love for the medium that has intensified with a desire to
own the little pieces of history from my favourtie artists;
I recently bought Analord 1-4, Run Jeremy, Trentemoller, and
Incunabula. And now scour ebay everyday.... ah it seems I've
devloped a new hobby and I love it. Sound investments in
every way - perfect!

Anyway thanks again vlari, very much. I'll get

I just want to say that this has been one in a long line
lately of very good-sounding mixes, that i would love to
hear. Sadly, i cannot due to small interweb pen0s size,
sorry oh shit life is bad. 56k :-(((

I'm glad you liked it, and congratulations on getting that
7". I didn't know it was still available! I subscribed to
the whole series of those singles (6 in all, meant to create
hype on a compilation), and they are all awesome. You
actually got the best one of them, and the remix is indeed
very reminiscent of SAW.

Dang nearly 6 years ago since my last post, but yep I have
been listening to this one again in the car the past couple
of days. I must be one of the few who still listen to CD's
and doesn't own a smartphone (that will change soon)!

...and why switch it up now?

Never felt the need to own one, and deciding to jump on
board as my phone is on its last legs (broke ass charger and
all). Most likely going to get the Galaxy S4, but going to
wait until it's on display before taking the plunge.

I will say though that it is sad seeing people glued to
their phone every free minute.

sneakytacky, can you put it up again so people who snoozed

Here's a link; this is shared from my dropbox account, and
I can't ensure how long it'll be up. I noticed that vlari's
archives of his oldest stuff seem to be down; I wouldn't be
surprised if he has an eventual plan to host them somewhere
again?
