i'm having a little discussion with a friend. is analord 10
a aphex twin or afx release? the rephlex-analord release
does'nt tell. the mp3 tracktitles are aphex, but discogs
says afx (don't trust them though).. what do you say?

Aphex Twin. It says it on the record. Look in the xlt
discography for a pic.

It's Aphex Twin if you look on the record label that cost 40
odd quid.

APHEX TWIN.

#10 says Aphex Twin on the label, #1 says AFX and 3 says
AFX. So either each is "by a different alias" or (and this
is my favourite) who gives a shit?

trainspotter alert: when I said "3" I meant "2"

I like your Bagpuss avatar, that's all I'm saying. Professor
Yaffle would say "nah nah nah, Analord, it's simply old
ideas regurgitated and then fed spasmodically to a feverish
fanbase that's lost all sense of its critical faculties, nah
nah, it's quite rubbish", and he'd only be half right.

well, correct me if I'm wrong but Analord 10 is listed as
Analord for artist, Analord 10 for title, and Analord10 for
catalogue number... so if you really want to figure out this
pointles trivia, it's actually an Analord release.

but, it says Aphex Twin on the centre label

analord 10 is the latest in the series, hence the drukqs
resemblance.

earlier works (analord 1,2, ) acid-era are the start of A -
F - X .

"Analord 10 is listed as
Analord for artist"

wrong.

" it says Aphex Twin on the centre label"

right.

conclusion = it's Aphex Twin

right?

it's "aphex twin" cuz it's 40$ ; if it has been afx for the
same EP withbthe same binder it would have been 12£.

it would seem that aphex didnt totally get his name back
from warp, hence the afx for 01 and 02, and the non shop
sale of 10

1&2 are definately afx, although I do agree, 10 is much more
aphex twin than afx. Maybe he plans on slowly weening his
music from one point in his carrer to the other.

it totally sounds like Aphex Twin...
AFX is more squarish... more minimaL.
