I work as web-designer in a small company run by a friend.
Not happy doing it, 50%.
I would like to work at same position but better paid, or at least I would like that boss-friend to become a normal person, not a headache-causing marasmatic corporate idealist. I would like the job schedule to be more flexible, so that i could miss some days without being brainwashed later. I need more free time and more vacations.
I like adbusting, right now i'm into Yushchenko adbusting. He has flooded the city with different crap which annoys me. I would like to have more time for music, also.

im quite content... it has been a bit boring so far but we'll do cool experiments this semester, a good occasion to steal new glasswork haha.
i have no idea what i want to do later. i only have a vague idea of what is possible with my education, but i dont really care.

what do you do for a living?
Fix the computer problems of people who are too stupid to own one. Troubleshoot servers and mssql and Oracle databases.
are you happy doing it?
It doesn't really challenge me and I feel myself being lowly de-skilled, so no. But I need the money and it's paying for me to do my Masters degree.
what do you want to end up doing ideally?
Corporate Intelligence.

thanks!
I don't think I'll ever stop making music.. I love it too much, but my real ambitions are to become a professor. However, it's not unheard of for a professor to do gigs and stuff.. hehehe...
and.. if I would ever get a chance to put out a record or tour or something (either on my own accord or on a recor-label), I could definately spend a year or so doing that even though it would be hard work and put a brake on my studies... however, that will probably never happen... unless I can get my act together and make that demo cd I've been thinking about for four years now... then there's a slightly larger probability of it happening, but it still isn't that large, I think...

I am a tourism info guy/security guard/psuedo-beatcop rolled into one job. I give people directions, ask street people, junkies and crack dealers to move along, and follow around people who are targets for auto crime/shoplifting untill loss prevention can apprehend them. Its a fucking wierd job, but it pays more than minimum wage, and as long as I stay on the radio regularly, and fill my daily quotas, I am left alone to do what I want and explore downtown all I want, so I am pretty happy with the job.

What do you do for a living? Art student / car park attendant. A truly ideal combination of soul searching and sitting on my arse.
Are you happy doing it? Not particularly... my job is actually less stressful than college, due to various personal issues. Which i guess isn't really a good thing. But at the same time, i'd sooner struggle through a bad year at college than be stuck with no career prospects in a useless, boring job.
What do you want to end up doing ideally? I'm honestly not that sure anymore. I mainly just want to get away from this shite-arsed town, and the only route out i can really see is to get myself to uni, pronto. I'm just hoping i enjoy it and get enthusiastic about being creative again once i get there.

''what do you do for a living?''
Uh... nothing right now. Between jobs, between... educations. I intend on going back to school in September, but for what, I don't know. It's a secret to all.
''are you happy doing it?''
Sort of. Life is supremely enjoyable at this precise moment, mostly because I'm a bit of a spoiled brat. But I'm sabotaging myself and doing my future a great disservice. I think...
''what do you want to end up doing ideally?''
I don't know, and that's why I'm not doing anything right now. I don't want to commit myself to a path that I'm not happy taking, a path that will not lead me to happiness. My first two years of college were a waste and I realized they were leading me nowhere interesting. I'm very unmotivated.

i studied environmental science and then an environmental engineering masters back in the uk....
....... i'm now working as an environmental engineer in lithuania. just started it very recently after spending a few months teaching english.
enjoying it so far, but it's a new thing for me (and obviously therefore difficult), but add to that the fact that it's also in a foreign-language environment (still don't speak much lithuanian at all, it's a bloody IMPOSSIBLE language - look at this: a very difficult language indeed
my plan is to continue doing this for a while, see how it works out. the hours a long and the pay is crap really (although not too bad for lithuania). they might get sick of my incompetence, or it might work out. i'm just giving it a go. if it doesn't work out, it's back to blighty.
long term..... well, for years i dreamt and harboured loads of crazy artistic/musical ambitions. now i think i'd be quite happy just to work on environmental stuff. maybe one day go back to uni and do a phd. who knows....

what do you do for a living?
i work in a restaurant (ever been to a Culver's?), but i go to school full time, so i don't really work that much...around 25-30 hours a week.
are you happy doing it?
yeah, it passes the time and pays the bills (well, most of the bills). i used to work in a call center, and time just stood still. at least in the restaurant i get to move around all day; be on my feet. i like it if they have me prep food in back so i don't have to deal with customers, but that rarely is the case.
so that's why i go to school, i guess! i think when summer comes i will try to get a part time job at victoria's secret, though.
what do you want to end up doing ideally?
my big plan is to have my own clothing/jewelry store. i like clothes and jewelry, so...i can't think of anything i'd be better at.
