First impression - best music I've heard from RDJ in a few
years

Back to older sounds, synths, melodies, the odd acid
bassline. Pretty straight - no fucked up distorted beats or
anything.
The slower track is really lovely.

If that helps.

Yep - initially refused, but it when I got back from the pub
pissed one night. Forgot about until a couple of days later
when I spotted the £40 had left my account.

Off to work now.

Note the name.

Afx is always his dance music, usually more straightforward
than his Aphex Twin name, which has more convoluted beats,
and dynamic melodies.

Afx = Braindance
Aphex Twin = IDM

dude that kind of gay shit is something autechre would do.
Aphex would never use some simplistic formula like that.

Oh. Well, you come up with better terms to describe this
music, other than 'music', a genre shared by aphex twin,
twisted sister, yannie, celine dion, elvis, madonna, britney
spears, jah rule, 50 cent, phish, bethoven and blind lemon
then I will use it.

So what if its a contribed name... it still acts as adequite
identification...

I don't ever have to talk about it so there's no need.

Usually I just refer to it as aphex twin and a bunch of
music he inspired.

fits.

But if you seriously feel the need to discuss how bad a name
idm is for idm, than I suggest you get a girlfriend stat. Or
a boyfriend. Or someone other than your computer who can
give you access to a naked person...

Its actually quite brilliant musically, I'd agree with
brainkids description. Also, the quality of the binder is
great. The pockets have aphex logos stamped into the lower
right hand corners.

Hello, BTW.

yes, why not accept it as the pop music it is?
good, electronic, something harsh or harcore,at other times
lovely or timeless, but pop nonetheless...

described the aphex logo on the pocket.. I don’t think
this has been mentioned anywhere else yet.. why on earth

sorry, no intention of being an ass. I am naturally
skeptical and we've built up so much energy for this release
that it's insane. I was expecting it to be good because,
due to the immense care of the release (binder, HUGE series,
etc.) it sounded to me like lazy richard was trying to set a
goal for himself, to motivate himself.

Also it's crucial that price was set after completion (of
course, if they set it high early, no one would buy it).

I'm glad you got it and it's great! thanks for the info. I
really love richard, fuck.

I'll be suprised if that track 2 edit isn't by rdj. its got
a donkey rhubarb kinda beat and a melody only he could
create. if thats fake i want to know where the hell it came
from; its lovely.

authentic. but i dunno if they will be on any of the analord
