well, i think they only said no cd because they want to sell as much vinyl as possible first...they know cds are selling the best so im sure they'll put it out on cds as well..if not, well, then cdrs seems like an good option :) |

Q's for Grant: Any scheduled release dates for Analord 3-9? Any plans for analords 11+? Are all the tracks finished- just waiting for the "releasing" schedule to catch up? What have the responses been like from those wo've heard them? What about your own opinion? What's the best way of describing the tracks in purely factual terms? E.g. Downtempo Acid, with acoustic elements and classic drum machines, etc Has Richard expressed an interest in continuing in this sort of music, or is the Analord series a "one off" trip to the old school? Any remixes of existing aphex tracks, or use of already used aphex samples (Astroblaster, Fantasia, etc.) in the tracks? What's the total number of tracks in the whole series? erm...analord 10 -with big boxset- is it 33rpm or 45rpm? (i"ve got 2 turntables but my "audiophile one" only plays records at 33rpm) also, if rephlex HQ still has any lenght after the analord campaign, please convince aphex to release more noise madness (like the 2 trx on smojphace) |

Is this going to be pressed on colored, clear or black vinyl 2. Who did the art work. 3. Why were those track names chosen 4. Will richard do any collab work with aleksi 5. Do you think the inital vinyl release hurts sales? Based on the fact that a number of people dont have equipment to play vinyl and yet would like to hear the release. Knowing that they will most likely utilize slsk to seek an answer to the question "is it worth the $" and then potentially not buy it as they will have over played it by the time of an alternative release (CD, TAPE, Hologram) 6. My only thought on why we get no answers back today is because maybe grant and richie took a moment away from throwing cash at each other to load up a car and mail all them binders. it'd be cool if there was a hidden groove thing on A10 (analord 10) steaksause. you know 2 cuts on one side of the record, each track with a different...track/song on it. i think they did this on the last tool album, a few cheech & chongs... http://www.kempa.com/blog/archives/2004_03.html for reference. |

Why cant we hear samples before we order? well, we count on those who will buy anything from aphex, whetever its shit or not. this is shit, again, but there are people that need it !! Are all the Analord releases going to be available on the 180g Audiophile Vinyl? we planned to release all of them in this format, then we realized that no one has proper turntable player to recieve the magnificent quality of the sound., we will release a simple Tape then :) when all the volumes are released, will there be a CD version? No plans at present, it also depend on which shelf richard will try to clean. will the sleeve be real or faux leather real, the one collected from Michigan, Ohio and Essex ( finest baby infants and youngies killed by richard himself ) How many tracks can we expect on the different vinyls? It varies, total number = 0 tracks. we sell only package for shit, theres no need to add music when we know that fans will buy it anyway. can we just pay another outstanding large sum upfront, and then have all the vinyl's shipped to our door, instead of going online and placing an order each month? all interested - please send mails to richard, he will inform tyou with account details if you want to add yourself to "Rich's charity guestbook". he needs new gear to his garage. |
