bad reasons?

well half the time people either dont have a reason, or they
refuse to tell me what the reason is: even when I
specifically tell EVERYONE to immediately tell me your
feelings if you have a problem with me. And of course,
everyone does the opposite of what I say. Its mostly here at
work though.

So not having a reason or keeping the reason a secret = BAD
REASON!

The other half is misinterpretation. Like when Happy Cycling
got his panties in a bunch when I thought I was being
blatantly sarcastic about my 'iraqwar/tsunami' remarks which
was really directed to make fun of Childrentalking...

Which also goes under the "too offensive to be funny
category" which is my specialty.

ahh, yes, but i guess i was asking you if people disliked
you in real life, not on the mb, how could someone dislike
someone here is beyond me - even the most naive on here are
just cyberspace personas - how could you hate someone youve
never even met.

I talked to a chap (omg i said chap) on soulseek who was
seriously being a pompous dick. He was not only critiqueing
everything I said, but taking shit outta context and making
fun of me to all his online 'buddies'. He just came across
as a pretentious-know-it-all-asslick, and I seriously hated
him. Until I read his info. It was literally thousands of
lines long of him bitching about other users on soulseek
that he bans because they dont follow his 2000 lines of
'rules'. Then he even copy/pasted NUMEROUS conversations
after his 'rules' just to show everyone how 'dumb' people
are and how he 'reams them' with his 'wit'. After reading
all that (well i didn't read ALL of it, it was quite a
rediculous amount) I really just felt sorry for him. The
hate went away and then I just felt pity.

He just needed to get a life really.

As for me in real life? I dunno, i dont have many friends.
And everyone else i know is through work and they pretty
much all lick donkey nuts, so it doesn't really give me a
fair perspective on myself because i dont hang out with
enough 'cool/normal' people.

it was APPLEshithead or something like that. Look for him in
the 'indie2' slsk room. Although I doubt he would download
anything from you, he doesn't download 'shit'. So apparently
he allready has everything on the entire planet that isn't
'shit', and hes just there to ban people who would be
interested in good music. But yeah, its
APPLE-SOMETHING_OR-OTHER... sorry i cant remember the whole
thing.

Here we go:

AppLeDouCHeBaG (notice the random caps, classy)

******* THE BIBLE ON GETTING BANNED *******

*** 1. No Files Shared? Sharing list only? Uploads set to 0?
BANNED AND IGNORED. It's such a hard concept to grasp that
you should share your fucking files on a FILE SHARING
NETWORK. Some of you fucks need to go back to kindergarten.

*** 2. Do you have 2 files shared? Do you not know how to
organize your files? Do all your MP3's follow the pattern of
"01_song_title.mp3"? Do you have 500 Incomplete files, or
500 AlbumArt923523523532.jpg files? BANNED AND IGNORED.

*** 3. Hey, are you that retard who can't seem to figure out
which folder their MP3's are in, so you share your entire
hard drive? BANNED AND IGNORED after I download all your
personal information.

*** 4. Do you have shit for speeds? Then you're gonna find
your queue deleted really fucking often. You're just as bad
as fucking Grandma who does 35 in the 50 lane. DIE PLEASE.

*** 5. THREE. ALBUMS. MAX. Don't fucking queue up anymore. I
do not hesitate to ban the stupid fucks who can't understand
things like "Oh! Maybe someone else will want to download
from him. Oh well, they can wait till I download 50 albums!
TEEHEE!". When you finish downloading one album, you can
queue up another. This also counts for shit like three-cd
sets and what not. Queuing up three double albums WILL STILL
GET YOU FUCKING BANNED.

Sigh, theres 13 rules to his 'bible' (praise the lord) and
thats not even 1/4 of what he typed up.

have alot to do with my life.

An album that needs to be finished and i start a college

Comfort and space are things that i need for these things to

Anyone want to ask about the music room???

I've read the whole thread. Doesn't sound like you've been
massively unreasonable, just been a bit inconsiderate in
dealing with them. Taking food (I know that's no longer an
issue) can really annoy some people. In the past,
I've gone mental at a flatmate for taking my food
(repeatedly, in large quantities and despite being "told
off" for it before). It's a combination of theft,
inconveniance (before now, I've been near shops, not bought
food thinking, "I have x at home, that'll do till tomorrow,
only to find it gone.") It's also, without wanting to get
too airy-fairy about it, a bit of an invasion of your
personal space- you're meant to feel safe & secure at home,
if your stuff goes missing/gets broken, etc. you quickly
lose that feeling).

I've had a bust up over cleaning too- someone complained I
never cleaned the grill- it was rank, literally about 1cm
thick grease in the tray, etc.- I argued I hadn't used it (I
hadn't turned it on once, the whole time we lived there).

Living with other people, who aren't necessarily friends,
particularly when done out of neccessity, rather than choice
is pretty stressful. I've come to blows with flatmates over
videogames and background noise when I'm on the phone
before, so it's hardly suprising when people get annoyed
over more serious things. Only way I've found to get along
with housemates is be nicer/more reasonable than you'd
expect of other, coupled with being more tolerant than you'd
like to be towards them.

On a personal note, when I met you/have talked to you on the
phone you were a perfectly reasonable bloke. In this case it
does sound like it's a bit more their fault than yours. Even
so, I'd try to smooth things over, rather than be in the
right.

HA HA!!

god I hate people who have "rules on downloading" on slsk..
the semi-illegal act of downloading music really needs
rules.. "you're not good enough for MY mp3s!"

the only thing that annoys me is when people decide to
download each and every thing I have shared.

3 onions?? PLEEEAAASSEEE!! The people that always get the
most upset about you eating their food are usually getting
it all paid for by their parents. Peeps that have been out
there on their own for a while are more tolerant cause they
been there. Or whatever. Basically they aren't spoiled
brats. Not so militant about everything going their way. I
say live with friends. You seem laid back. These people
already didn't like you. Live with a close friend. As long
as one of you isn't too much of a slob. That can get bad if
you are always cleaning up after someone.
