...forever....Stupid motherfuckers.

Anyone know any other decent torrent sites?

for more mainstream torrents, lokitorrent is pretty
okay.

as is torrentreactor.

but by far the best torrent-site is delirium-vault -
completely dedicated to rare and/or cult film/tv/music. you
need an invite for that one - I can get you in, need to know
what nickname you want on there, plus an e-mail-adress they
can contact you on.

delirium had been offline the last few days, but it seems to
be back up.

hmm, seems delirium-vault got hit by the MPAA too - they're
only a forum at the moment, they may start sharing torrents
again in january.

I just got the news too. There will never be another
Suprnova. I've searched all over for good torrent sites
besides Suprnova and there just isn't any. This is a sad
day. :[

Do you think you are a super hero or something?

It's about time you net nerds stopped stealing illegal
copyrighted material anyway. Pay like the rest of the world
does.

You know, I never really liked torrents.

Good thing is, 5 more similar sites will pop up in a couple
months.

OK...I found a temporary fix while Suprnova is dead.
This site seems like it was a good alternative
while Suprnova was around and now there's been word of mouth
that they might try to evolve it again. Dunno....but, now
that Suprnova is dead, a lot of those torrents will probably
end up here.

well, the larger ones (like suprnova) are easier to nab,
theoretically it should be much harder to get the smaller
ones.

offline Taxidermist from Black Grass on 2004-12-20 12:44 [#01431918]

Just think of how much money they are spending, busting all
these different p2p, and how much of a result they are
getting... suckers. They will do this for a couple more
years, realize all they are doing is wasting massive parts
of their lives, and then give up, and curl up into a cozy
little casket of rodent hides and popcorn.

that sounds good:

"[Exeem] is to basically become a Kazaa but using the
bittorrent protocol. I was one of the beta testers and I can
say it works well, it's fast it's efficient and because it
doesn't have to faff around with one tracker it starts
transferring the second, *the second* you add the torrent.
Publishing a torrent is incredibly easy, drag the folder in,
pick a category, click go. It hashes it and it starts
seeding within seconds."

It sounds like they are just re-inventing the wheel.

Centralized p2p networks like bittorrent will be faster
because there is less overhead between the peers.

Hopefully it will offer some advantage over existing
decentralized networks like Overnet or Kademlia or it might
be DOA.
