no, kazaa is a piece of spyware ridden monkey feces

you MUST use shareaza. it does .torrents, can search the
kazaa/morpeus network, does some other nifty things too, and
best of all

no spyware included!

soulseek: because it spawned from the idm mailing list and
there are a bunch of nerds into that shit on there :)

if you make music too be sure to visit the "SoulSeek
Artists" room!

www.slsknet.org
for music and even specific files, movies or programs, just
a little harder

bittorrent for apps, games, movies, etc.

i use bit torrent mostly. i get lots of stuff from
indytorrent.com.

but, it'd be nice if you could search for torrents natively
in the app instead of having to look around other pages. i
read something recently about how suprnova is working on
that.

soulseek seems to have gone shit recently... can't find
anything i want, and when i do i have to wait in a queue 938
long

i think its coz everyones using all the 'torrent' stuff
these days, but i cant get my head around it...

offline epohs from )C: on 2004-12-07 11:32 [#01418289]

yeah, i hopped on the soulseek bandwagon way late, but from
what i've seen it ain't too awesome. i'm always at the back
of a 400 person line waiting for files.

it's a kinda nice chat program though.
