i want to go to england in holidays someday = )
don't know england enough to tell... except that i'd definitely pick england for music - out of my music collection, there are only 2 cds by french artists/bands but dozens of english ones
since i'm a vegetarian, i'm not a fan of french food... about girls, i don't know about english ones, but there are pretty ones in france anyway (more in paris from what i remember). but it must be something in my head, i don't know why the girls would be prettier in paris than in colmar.

hmm, im not at home now, but from what i can remember: laurent garnier (dunno which album(s) though), cassius, daft punk, banghalter (irreversible score), mr.oizo, dimitri from paris, ghislain poirier, some rap compilations, mc solaar, st. germain, air (i think 4 or 5 of their releases :), dj cam, telepopmuisc, mirwais, kid loco (i think 3 albums by him),...plenty more...infact when i think about it i must have over 50 :)
there's some very decent electronica as well, but i can't remember the artists or titles...i'll have a look when i get home.

In Chile (I don't know about other spanish speaking countires) the film "Lost in Translation" was translated as "Lost in Tokyo" (or "Perdidos en Tokio") so, that's like, the title, "Lost in translation" was lost in translation.

yes, but one thing is quick translations...for films, magazines, and such. but it's totally different when people translate literature. people who do that are usually literats themselves, and they study about the origianl artists all their life...getting to know them through their work, through their contemporaries...basically (if they're good) they get to know the artist very good before they start translating him. all you need to do, is to find out who's good at translating...someone who's not doing it only for the money.
the thing is, english is very poor language for literature, so that might be a problem. i guess im lucky coz my language is very literary.
