suspense it is, then! good idea, Alex!

phobia has responded, I'm uploading the 75-minute mix in
delightful 192 k/s mp3-form AS WE SPEAK.

also AS WE SPEAK, I'm uploading the wav-versions of
individual tracks to a server of my own, for those so
inclined.

found a small mistake in the mix, have to correct that and
re-upload.

should be done in a few hours, though. :)

phobia now has the correct mp3! the ball is in his park.

the mix is called "Land o' classical gas" (taken from
the Pixies song "planet of sound"), it's 75 minutes long and
the mp3 comes at a clean 106 Mb.

it contains 17 tracks by boardmembers (including one by me)
and 11 short tracks, one of them being an "ouverture" (a
silly intro), another one being an "intermission" and the
other 9 being "diversions" - small bits of music that I made
out of bits of the tracks that precede and follow.

as said, I will also be offering a regular 44.100 Hz/16 bit
quality wav-version of the mix, downloadable per track (so
you wouldn't have to slurp down the whole 778 Mb in one go).

yeah, i suspect that either it didn't fit the classical
element or qrter may have thought it sucked. but that's a
risk i was willing to take! :)

seneca is dozier.

astroblaster is also known as 6, hasn't posted much, used
to
hang around a lot in the aphextwin.nu slsk room.

murw is Bremzen.

enid & rebecca is deepspace9mm.

sick to the back teeth is r40f, if I'm not mistaken. I
don't
even know if that really is his artistname, that filename
was a bit confusing.

hummer is nobsmuggler.

biggiesmartypants is big, yarr.

I don't hate you. not ALL the time.

I think one of my friends who hosts the server deleted the
wav's I had so painstakingly uploaded.

I don't have them on this computer, but I do have them on
backup.

I'll see if I can zip them and upload them for a short
while. not soon, though, as I still have the cd-rom doesn't
work thing going on.
