I wasn't pissing on him, I was getting pissed at YOU, you
hound!

you said you were going to rework two older works, then all
of a sudden I get the message from big that you don't even
really want to enter, but if big wants to he can submit
something for you, which is a completely different track.

it's not exactly the most charming way to handle things, I
think you'll agree, Paul..!

I do not have the means to record a sibelius-thingy, btw.

this comp closes at tomorrow 12 o'clock midnight, Dutch
time.

so that's 23:00 English time, etc.

Another submission. It's called "The Last Thing You Ever Said To
Me" but yahoo is too retarded to handle long file names, so
it's listed at "Enid & Rebecca - The Last". I hope it meets
your expectations, good sir.

I'm using a back-up computer, and I'll probably be working
on it the biggest part of the day and the evening tomorrow!
exciting stuff!

qrter, were you able to download any of it? i'm not sure
what happened with the upload, it takes so long i just let
it go and came back later to find an "upload successful"
window. if you don't mind, i can burn it to a cdrw and
upload it tomorrow morning (central us time). it takes too
long to upload from home and it's getting late here right
now. it took an extraordinary effort to ready this track in
time so i'd hate to miss out. seeing as how it's the deep
night in the netherlands i'll just have to upload tomorrow
morn and let you know when it's up.

oops.

i just started the download myself from home and it seems to
be working fine. the file size is correct and i downloaded
275MB of it (it would take another 45 minutes to download
the whole thing).

is anyone else (with a broadband connection) willing to test
the download and see if it works?

ok wait i found the post from above. it didn't work for me.
said the file wasn't there. i tried right clicking and just
clicking on it. no luck with either.

can't link directly to the file at zebox, but...

oxyde métallique noir

i think it's about halfway down the list...

offline thecurbcreeper from United States on 2004-08-08 20:51 [#01299297]

perhaps the problems is with the accented e in the file name

offline plaidzebra from so long, xlt on 2004-08-08 20:53 [#01299303]
Points: 5678 Status: Lurker

i started the download without any problem, but i can't
stick around to see if i can get the whole file. all i can
do is try to upload again from work tomorrow morning.

cc, thanks for trying!

offline plaidzebra from so long, xlt on 2004-08-08 20:58 [#01299314]

are you saying that zebox is incompatible with the french
language? sacrilege!

changing the name of the track will only change the way it
appears on the site, it won't actually change the name of
the file. if that is the problem, i will still have to
reupload.

oh hello.. I'm having some wonderful HD problems at
home, to the point that it has actually and completely died
on me now.

anyway, money to buy a replacement is on the way. now I can
only hope I can replace it myself. yarr.

plaid, it wouldn't even let me start the download on
the old titled version, but this new one took less than a
minute. yah.

just two days ago I bought a 60 Gb hd and after some profuse
sweating managed to get it working.

it was the single most scary thing I have done concerning
computers, I'm not that great, technologically.

just to be clear:

THIS VIBES IS CLOSED. NO MORE ENTRIES!

and for even more clearness, these are the people that
submitted one or more tracks:

JAroen
oddioblender
drunken mastah
darriusgriffin
zeus
nobsmuggler
big
Bremzen
r40f
hyakusen
PHVKKAGE
deepspace9mm
Raz0rBlade_uk
marlowe
japes
corticalstim
fleetmouse
plaidzebra
Junktion
6

yarr. please let me know if I am ommitting anyone from this
fabulous list.

as said before, I shall be conferring with my
committee-members and then put the whole thing together.
also as said before, my guess is this can take anywhere
between 1 to 3 months of your Earth time. no longer than
that though, I promise.

thanks to all who submitted - I can't guarantee everyone
will be included in this comp, because, well, life is shit
like that.

again, yarr.
