chanlenge me,

1. I dont believe most of the facts that you gave me just
then, where are they from? Bushes lies probably.

2.You went there under false pretenses and broke many laws
to topple a regime so teh US could profitise from the Iraqy
people.

3. People were killed!

4. War is a fight between TWO army's

yea they need the extra 65% to cope with civilian casulties,
lol

I have no issues with Iraq becoming a better country, but
why did the US have to lie about why they went there, WOMD,
just say, we want to stop a dictatorship. Which is not a
valuable reason to invade a country (UN law) but the US just
went and broke that law, and now are using "these facts" to
make us feel better about it. well it doesnt work on me.

Nacmat thats a strong statement coming from somebody who's
country fell through corruption until Aznar took power. and
history will repeat itself. your country is a prime example

Now Aznar believes that the Islamic terrorists will try to
influence elections in other countries, including the United
States. "If they were able to do it in Spain, why wouldn't
they try to do it elsewhere?" he asked.

these are facts. i just posted. if you dont care for them
thats another thing. if you actually believe what i posted
are lies then you are simply

being ignorant. cya later

i'm not saying that i fully believe these stats that were
obviously copied from a forwarded email, but it's kinda sad
how quick people are to dismiss them as lies.. and be just
as quick to accept equally vague statistics that discredit
the US as fact.

i'm starting to think that there is absolutely nothing
america can to to improve it's public image. even if these
stats were true i doubt any of the disbelievers would give
them any thought.

I am sure soldiers in iraq are trying to do their best now
to improve those people´s lifes... but at first that war
should have never taken place.... not for money

and maybe some of those stats are true, which is good for
iraq... but what a bout the 40 people who died today in a
wedding? or the prisioners being humiated?

its normal that we disbelieve

yes, bush is indirectly a murder. and he might've thought
doing what he did would benefit the us in some way, but
overall the us is losing a shitload of money funding the
war.. so you can't really say that it was genocide for
money.. i mean, it really would be considered genocide in
that it was a near-complete extermination of a political
party.. but then you would need to consider every war or
action like that to be a genocide.. the overthrowing of the
nazis would be genocide.. not trying to compare the two,
just making an example. people need to stop seeing things
only in black and white.. both sides of this too. i mean,
bush might be a stupid bastard that should've never been
elected, but you can't deny that there has been at least
some good on some level that has come out of his
actions, as vile/violent as they were/are.. i am not saying
it was justifiable, but i am saying that even if we don't
like it, sometimes systemised killing can prevent the
systemised killing of someone else who's more innocent.. it
probably should not at all be our role as humans to decide
who shouldn't or should die.. but we need to accept that
sadam was evil (maybe just like bush) but he didn't at least
try to sugar-coat or justify his killings as being "for
freedom".. the killings sadam committed were only to tighten
his stranglehold on his nation and its people.. maybe we
just shouldn’t kill at all, but to someone, the innocent
guy sitting on death row in iraq, the actions of the us
government were most likely welcome.
i know many people can think of a bunch of equally valid
points to counter what i've said, and i'd like to hear
them.
i just wanted make a few points that show that things are
never clear-cut.. it seems like, in a way, many people are
sort of stuck into thinking that the everything bush has
done/is doing, and even the end result is wrong/bad in every
possible way, just like some are so damn convinced that
everything he is doing is right in every possible way..

What people don't realise is that this whole business is an
inevitable spiral of doom. Yeah that "Nora" dude can feel
good about himself saying it was a "rightful" struggle or
whatever. And the others will say that if "we remove our
troops the problem will go away".

i just think there is no total right and wrong when it comes
to violence and government.. as long as one government is
using violence as method of control, the only real way to
stop them is with more violence.. unless we just wait
sheepishly and let that initial violence take its course..

Also, for Gas/oil....because here in the US we're running so
low they are putting sediments and water in the gasoline to
make the gas gauges in peoples cars read WAAY more gas than
there really is. So folks are running on E and getting
stranded on the highways when Their Gas gauges read a half

my dad is a pretty bigtime lefty, but he made a really good
point for why the people in quantanamo really shouldn't be
covered by the geneva convention.

in a battle soldiers are required to be in uniform. if they
are captured they have to provide their captors with
their name and their rank. they have to. and by their
uniform, their captors are able to tell what side they are
on, and their nationality. the terrorists do not have rank,
they are not in uniform, and they are not bound by the
geneva convention themselves to tell their names. so, we
are completely inable to verify who they are, or what side
they are on. for that matter, they have no formal side...
they have no one who can formally surrender for them. under
the geneva convention it is legal to execute spys. these
are people who masqarade as someone other than lawfull
combatants.

these terrorists are somewhere in between. they're not
exactly spies... but we are completely unable to verify who
they are, who they're fighting for, and if they're ever
going to surrender.

they weren't following the rules of the geneva convention.
they aren't fighting for a government who is a signatory to
the geneva convention. so, by all means they shouldn't be
covered by the geneva convention.

verifying that they are actually terrorists is the hard
part. it's a shitty situation any way you look at it.

Ok,

Seriously guys.

I know most of you are intelligent individuals.

But while you sit back and take in the ingress information,
you falsely build accusations taken largely off
assumptions.

Almost everything I read in this thread is a personal
assumption.

Funny. Many of you are from different parts of the world; I
love having the opportunity to talk to people from all over
at the touch of my fingers. Share ideas, debate, etc.

But comon, far too many assumptions.

PhystPhukt,
"Also, for Gas/oil....because here in the US we're

Remind me never to even let you add windshield washer fluid
to my car, let alone change my oil. Where you got this is
quite...well, conspiracy striken. They are putting water in
the gasoline? Uhh, ok. No wonder my car has been getting
so much knock retard on the timing lately. Please
!!!!!!!!!! I don't know where you get off trying to say
this, but hopefully you will chime in to explain this to

--------------------

altai,
"4. War is a fight between TWO army's"

Funny...Far too often I see war as a fight between 2
religions.
I believe you can check your history books to a few thousand
years ago for proof of this.

Yes it should be between armies, and not civilians. But
last time I checked, the strike that my country brought
forth was with quite expensive, and heavily accurate bombs.
We didn't randomly carpet bomb the city. Things were
strategic and I can show you very very high resolution
satellite images to back this up.
