As much as I don't like Bush...and his
administration....look to the republican party as a whole
first. Now..I'm no walking fact based kid or even that well
educated in politics, but I feel that the republican party
as a whole got someone into office (Bush) who they could
boss around. I mean....just look at how scandalous that
election was. I need not remind what happened at the end
when they were counting votes by hand. Anyway, this whole
war isn't Bush's fault and his adminstration. Sure they DO
have blame, but like I said it's the whole Republican Party.
No offense, but Bush is not the brightest man around. I
can see him being very gullible.

off-topic: You gotta love Bush's response to whoever was
interviewing him and said around the lines "So what do you
think history will say about you years down the road." His
response, while I don't think exact was "It doesn't matter,
we're all going to die anyway." I dunno that just erked me.

"funny

3/4 of your content of your post just became name-calling
defensive instead of actual debate material.

:("

if you honestly didnt see my point against him, and why it
was justified, then I'm not even going to bother continueing
in this debate. Its very obvious, the point I was making,
which was in response to him.

please see nacmats response.

thank you.

*know what else is funny? that 100% of your post is trying
to discredit me (almost like name calling) and not actual
debate material. In fact it doesnt even raise points
relating to the topic at all, unlike mine. Yours is just
your (flawed) view on my post.

So, keep up the hard work guys. But unfortunatly, I think
you'll need to double your efforts.

zeus obviously you see things in a different shade of light
than i do. i know the things i dont like in this world. i
dont like the obvious wrongs in the world. war isn't the
greatest thing in the world, but that comes hard to say whne
you think of the others who are suffereing at the wrong
hands of other people. i'm more worried about the thousands
of people who have a future in iraq as oppose to the
unfornate individual caught between the crossfire of this
war going on now. israel is a prime example of what goes on
in the middle east when you aren't culturally and religously
accepted. i dont think you can't deny these things i've said
because they're obviously shown in the news all the time.
you want to see this war as "the cup being half empty" fine
by me you're entitled to that. i'm also entitled to stand up
in what i believe in.

"israel is a prime example of what goes on

Israel is a prime example of how isolated the US is when it
comes to their foreign policy, just about every resolution
put against Israel is vetoed by the US. Also I heard Israel
refuses weapons inspectors into their country, but thats ok,
because they are friends with the US.

why can't people have other ideas than what a majority of
board members think. and why when they share it are they
atacked? these topics are getting so old, try talking about
music for once. your not cool

don't be silly, how can the US Administration commit crimes?
In order to do that they would have to adhere to some kind
of international law... which they do, only when it suits
them. I mean, the UN decided not to go to war with Iraq, but
the US did anyway because it is was self defence!

he started it *points to nora*

but seriously...

the majority of americans (or at least the majority of the
american media) is pro bush. Im so sick and tired of hearing
it. Id love to talk about music, but when someone comes on
the board with this junk, its open game to tear them apart.
Nora posted this topic. She expressed her views. We
expressed ours. The fact that the majority is against her,
is coincidence. I have no problem with people having thier
own opinions... but if they want to share it, then they take
the risk of other people not agreeing, and stating thier
opinion.

If Israel is so justified in its murdering of civilians with
US bought Apache hellicopters, demolishing civilian homes
and firing on protesters with gunships then why does 99% of
the world condemn their actions?

the only thing i retract from my responses are the
derogative statements. sometimes i cant help it, as i'm sure
the other person can't when you feel the other person just
isn't getting it. but this forum doesn't allow you to edit
your responses. so when you make a mistake its branded for
all eternity.

well my friends... you can't go back in time to fix the
wrongs that you have done.

Just like all the damage we've done, by invading Iraq. It
will take a long time to repair our (deservedly) tarnished
image.

"If Israel is so justified in its murdering of civilians

the world condemn their actions? "

Not nearly as many civilians are killed as the "media"
reports. they are misleadng in their numbers, which count
all palestinian deaths as one. that includes civilians and
terrorists. 99% of the world condemns israel because they
are antisemetic. the homes are demolished usually because
they were once home to suicide bombers and thus become
honored places which promote more terrorism. if you do some
research israel has done more for peace in the past 10 years
than the palestinians can pretend to. they fake peace
efforts when in reality they teach their own, including
children to hate.

99%?

and youre trying to tell me, the 11,000 people who just lost
thier homes in the gaza strip... they are ALL terrorists?

notice i said, the homes of suicide bombers, i wasn't

person before me said, ofcourse thats an exxageration but
you cant deny the amount of anti semetism that is out there

the point i'm trying to make is to sympathize with the
palestinians and bash israeli isnt right, sure the
palestinians have some value to their cause but to bash
israeli is wrong, the palestians dont want peace or to let
isareli exist. thats fact

and yes, there is alot of anti-semitism... but whenever
someone says something bad about israel, you cant always
throw down the anti-semitism card. there are plenty of
reasons for people to be pissed off at the israelis... and
not because they are jewish

if you read my comments earlier, I said palistine is not
blame free. its just that israel isnt either, like many
people like to portray them.

the whole reason they are mentioned in this debate, is
because someone justified invading iraq, because of 15
broken resolutions. israel has 68. we were making the point
that using the excuse "but they broke 15 resolutions" for
going to war, is BS.
