yes, he does.

always makes him sound like he's indifferent about
everything.

well I don't mean it to mean I'm indifferent... I just meant
it as in shrug, you have a valid point, here's his possible
view point... I guess...

I can guarentee you that if i would have got fucking shoved
that Tom would have hit the ground. Pomme was being polite
and he even asked. He many people actually take the time to
ask. Alot of times they just do. Also when you ask "do you
mind" and the response is "no" then that implies that "no i
do not mind if you take my picture"

Nervous or not... you dont have to be a prick. Hope you
enjoyed the show jason!!

it just occured to me that perhaps he doesn't like americans
:)

for real tho, jenkinson seems a bit arrogant.

well the thing that probably annoyed Tom was that we said no
to the picture, and still pomme still went to take it...
sure it was a mis-communication, but still... I don't know,
just playing the devil's advocate here! :)

yeah i understand where you are coming from. But in my case
i take physical contact like that personal. I dont know why
but i think that if you pull something like that you are
looking to have a go at the person. Tom could have just
simpily walked away.

Tom J. is a pompous clown. Not only for what he did to
pomme but have you folks read these 'essays' he's been
writing. (One for DYKS and one for some magazine - I
believe link was posted here.) He writes like he's 16 and
just discovered a Thesaurus.

On top of all of that, Ultravisitor is just a rehash of old
ideas and his show in Montreal sucked ass.

Go away Squarepusher, go away.

I met Richard and Tom once. Richard is far more friendly and
Tom just has the look of a grumpy guy. But the times i have
met him he has seemd alright.

Aphex launched himself at me and pinched my skin and tried
to tickle me. Then he went off with Tom. I met Richard
another time on the Ether Festival and we had a brief chat
in which he was really nice.

Then i spoke to Tom on the same night, and he seemed really
nice that time round, even though it was obvious he felt
uncomfortable.

I don't know... I met him last year outside the restroom in
L.A... we crossed paths... He looked at me and nodded I did
the same... Told him "I look forward to your set" He said
"thanks!"... That was it... Richard Devine on the other
hand... I had a conversation with him...

Saying that, doing a show is not the place to be if you
don't want attention.
If i'm at worrk I don't always feel like washing dirrty
cups, still i don't go rround swearring and smashing them
overr patient's heads.

tom's attitude may also be a reason why he often plays
alone...usually there are always two or three or more guys
having these electronica gigs, but it appears like tom is
always playing on his own - perhaps he's taking his work too
serious??
afx is always focused as well, but he seems very friendly
and down to earth guy...

i still love tom's music tho! one of my 3 favourite
musicians :)

i think the reason he may've seemed so grumpy is because he
might have been high on lsd.
