I know this is a bit OT, but it's been discussed before, so
...

The new album is available for pre-order at Isotank:
here

The new logo is pretty cool, too.

The tracklist has been floating around as well. You should
beable to find it in the forums at www.litany.net.

decent, godfearing, everyday people. They believe in the

nothing to worry about.

They be good jes!!! To be frank I'm not expecting much but
the fact that otto von schirach will be featured in the
album creates hopes of utter beatfuckery!

im expecting alot

i thought ohgr's sunnypsyop was easily one of the best true
industrial albums (and very sonically fresh) of the past ten
years.

it all went downhill after fook, it seems :\

pup has always been the one industrial group i feel totally
transcends genres and is something much more than just their
creative output.

its like seeing a dali painting in the flesh, gives me
goosebumps and tells me there truly are these vast planes of
creativity and existance.

You've pretty much summed up my own opinions of skinny puppy
there, Tibbar. It seems that in any given album they're
able to tap into so many different emotions very
effectively.

Skinny puppy has never failed to amaze me.

i think everythign theyve done from rabies on (including
most all of their side projects and whatnot) has been
nothing short of pure unadulterated musical mastery.

the process as a whole wasnt the best thign ever, but there
was select songs on there which rank among their best, imo.

and deltoid: supposedly key wants to do a new download after
the puppy reunion plans are done. supposedly spybey is in or
key wants him in or something.

some more 'eyes' type stuff in our future?

i was thinking death, morter, amnesia... but yeah, hardset
is a great one too. nice download-ish beat at the beginning
too. its cool that you could see something like 'eosp'
emerging form that album.

"some more 'eyes' type stuff in our future?"

i think the sound of early download died with Dwayne. Cevin
seems to smokes too much weed to be that aggro. my opinion
as to why Download and Plateau kinda merged into the same
sounding project after Dwayne's passing. without his input,
download's sound veered awfully close to the spacey
electronic's that started with Plateau's second album. all
good stuff mind you, but i do miss the chaos element that
used to permeate downloads work. hopefully, this new Puppy
material will bring some of that back.

offline herbwest from Seattle (United States) on 2004-03-25 17:50 [#01119615]
Points: 418 Status: Lurker

let us not forget that The Process was only like 75% percent
finished when it was released. Dwayne died and Ohgr quit,
so American just released what they had done up to that
point. the album was already a huge chunk of time overdue
anyhow.

offline tibbar from harrisburg, pa (United States) on 2004-03-25 17:53 [#01119617]
Points: 10513 Status: Lurker

actually, they had rave come finish the production on that
album, but youre right, it wasnt "done".

as far as the whole key/download thing, i think you forget
who put out a little album called "musik for cats". that
wasnt a good album, but it was balls-out chaos. so i just
think its that key wants to move forward, and probably saw
moving toward a different sound as his way of continuing
without that someone to fall back on.

having spybey on for a new download project would ensure
fuckery... i'm never going to deny that it won't be the same
without dwayne, when dwayne died, the world lost someone
i'm-capable-of-scaring-the-shit-out-of-people-with-tape-loo
really special (in that ps-sorta-way)... but i believe in
these boys

Speaking of download, does anyone know who the second guy on
the EOSP picture is? I'm assuming Spybey, but I'm not
really sure.I'm talking about the picture under the flap,
not the cover.

yeh, spybey on the left, key on the right.
