the madvillany thread hits 100 posts. this is a momentous
occasion for a hip hop album topic on xltronic.

~more accurately, the dark side of our deeds.

nearly as good...

album? :)

whenever they feel like releasing one...

all madlib does is sit in his basement and produce beats
(while stoned)... perhaps in i'll take the time to count all
the tracks he was on last year, and this year so far... you
can expect that within the next 23 posts in this cancerous
thread...

haha, excellent news...

"all madlib does is sit in his basement and produce beats
(while stoned)"

a brilliant man.

it's funny in a way, how much i love this album, but at the
same time i can't listen to perfuse or any other of that
electronica-hip hop combinations...

You should really get into quasimoto - the unseen, because
it is absolutely amazing. I also strongly recommend
madlib invades blue note and jaylib - champion sound.

clearly you'd better just like quasimoto already, or you
will be bugged about hearing it from all of us for all
eternity :D

just get the whole album. put on some good headphones. light
up, and listen through it straight through... you won't be
sorry.

Madlib is getting quite popular! :] I wonder if Adult Swim
showcasing his name at the end of each block has anything to
do with it?

madlib is getting quite popular because it was only a matter
of time... just you wait and see what happens when he
resuscitates A Tribe Called Quest's career!

i'm listening to this for the first time...

sounds really weird. °_° i thought it would be just one or
two intros ilke that, but apparently the whole album is
weird short tracks... i'll certainly need more listens.
right now i can't say i like it very much. (i admit i
downloaded it before buying, so i hope i got the right
version...)
