The Inside Man - an almost 4/5: great plot, nice acting. a
very solid movie, but certainly no classic.
Silent Hill - 3/5: best features were the visual arts and
the women. and the story...well, let me say the best thing
about it is that it gives the impression there's a bigger
story behind and i'd even like to find out what it is. but
that's about it. memorable horror slasher at best

harsh times.

fucking rubbish, plotless, characterless, charmless, boring
and inconsistent. ameri-chav's speaking niggerese for 2 plus
hours in a story devoid of meaning, depth and entertainment.
avoid like ebola.

l'ami de mon amie - 3.5/5

Eric Rohmer can take something arbitrary and make it seem
relevant and interesting. It was like a soap opera, but
good.

was probably the first manga thingy film ive ever seen and
no, I do not like the big weird eyes (what a manga n00by
thing to say) I liked it when the big boss got all fat and
juicy though, that was cool.

Kenny 6-7ish/10
australian mockumentary about 'plumber' who works with
portaloos.
felt weird watching it at cinema cos of the nature of the
film, though, the whole cinema was laughing heaps throughout
the whole movie, which was good.
perhaps itd work better as a tv show, but was still a good
movie.

about it but yeah. He is one raspy mother fucker now. What
happened?

The original wonka was awesome. You must be joking. The new
one was almost as bad as the new star wars films.

Pacino screamed his voice into that condition.

Oh, and Gene Wilder was great. I also <3 the old wonka
movie.

Little Miss Sunshine - 3/5

Amateurish, but still a bit entertaining...starts off with
one of the longest, and most awkward, dinner scenes I've
ever had to sit through in order to get to the inciting
incident--definitely needed some script work and better
direction.

The Constant Gardener 4/5 - a serious political thriller
doesn't get much better than this... I have new-found
respect for Le Carré.

miami vice - i wanted to give it a 4/5, but the loads of
narcissism it splats on the big screen makes it a 3/5. it's
definately not your average kind of action-flic. it's a well
done micheal mann flic.
altough it's based on the old tv series, it's not cheesy or
campy at all. i would have likes the score to have more of
the original miami vice tunes though. as far as i can tell,
there's only a short piece which is a remixed version of
phil's 'in the air tonight'. that was nice, but it wasn't
nearly enough.
