Grizzly Man - 9/10 - The only reason this captivating
documetary doesn't get a 10 is that Herzog behaves too
amotionally at times and is generally kind of pretentious.
However, it may be his normal manner, he bahaved in the same
way on the set of "Burden of Dreams" (a documentary about
filming of "Fitzcarraldo").

Time of the Wolf (not to be confused with Hour of the Wolf)
- 8.7

also sorts of gorgeous photography, and a nice spare take on
apocalyptic stuff... and by spare all i really mean is
realistic, i reckon. funny how that works out. oh cinema.
dearie me. also: good of Haneke to pare it down to one scene
of blood and vomit per film these days...

Just that. There's absolutely nothing good about this
movie. It's terrible. Plot, pacing, direction,
cinematography, the sets, shitty cgi fights, natalie
portman, etc.

All good films and all, but to say Producers and Suicide
Club were both better than Apocalypse Now is a hardline
stance all right!

- The Party 5/5 - Still remains one of the best comedies
ever made. Peter Sellers at his best. Also, Air must've
been inspired by the lovely song the French girl sings in
this flick cos it's right up their alley. If you haven't
seen it, you really should.

saw Dark City for the second time... it's not very good.
maybe a 6...

this movie feels like the Coles notes version of a 2 hour
and 10 minute long sci-fi movie... nothing sinks in because
they are in such a hurry to get there. also Kiefer is a
dork. nice hair. still, the idea of a bunch of max shrecks
running around a giant movie set shifting people around is
sort of priceless.
