yeah, you can usually see some pretty cool films on those
festivals, although i don't like going..not that i have
something against gay people, but if there are too many
around that's another thing..

im going to a cinema in an half of hour as well :)

it's not that i worry..it's just too uncomfortable :)

today i saw breaking news 3/5

although i don't like action films this was alright..it was
filmed in hong kong so that was nice. luckly, there wasn't
much dialogue, so i could understand almost everything - it
was one of those unsubtitled films, and my cantonese isn't
all that good :)
there's simultaneous translation on headphones, but i hate
to see it that way..

I've seen the Pink Panther films loads of times when I was
younger, always enjoyed it, though I guess it may have dated
a bit now. Still, i'd much rather watch it that the 'teen
comedies' that come out all the time these days.

its a new film based on a manga by Masamune Shirow (Ghost n
the Shell), visually it looks amazing (check out the
trailer)... I hope thats not all there is to it though.

yeah I mean I am running out of credit..cant run mpegs

there was an APPLESEED direct to video ages ago...
Appurushîdo

which was kinda okay

But don't get your hopes up with the deep and philosophical
Ghost in the Shell connection...that movie was 85% Oshii and
15%Shirow

Shirow's own work tends to be fast energetic fun and a tad
bit juvenile...

voices of iraq : i give it 3/5, not too good, not too bad,
interesting nevertheless.

tupac and biggie, or biggie and tupac, i can't remember what
the name was: 2/5...kind of interesting stuff to know, but
not really that enjoyable to watch.

office killert: 0/5, bad bad bad. cindy sherman sucks at
making a movie. laaaame. even the lovely and talented
molly ringwald couldn't save this worthless piece of shit.

Spellbound was a definite "four and a large bit" out of five
for me. It makes me a bit weepy for some reason, it's "too
real" in parts if you know what i mean. Too many dashed
hopes in a pointless pursuit of happiness.

Anyway:

Dawn of the dead (original) ---> 4/5, very funny
zombie-schlock
Bridget Jones' Diary ---> 1 and a bit/5, very unfunny
third-rate brit-movie shite.
