Budakhan Mindphone and Maximum Priest are both very good
(better than Burning'n'Tree IMO) You should get those.

However, Eviscerate (Version) on Burning is one of my top 5
favorite Squarepusher tracks. But most of the rest of the
album bores me.. just too much Amen.

I never get good reviews of those two eps

but I respect your opinion a lot.

I think I will get the three

it.

for those who like Squarepusher's jazzy/fusion stuff:

it's time you checked out some Jaco Pastorius or Weather
Report stuff.
i once did it, simply out of curiosity... and it was one of
the biggest musical discoveries of my life, thanks to Tom.

Jaco's influence is so obvious on this album.

when i first bought this in nyc, i was listening to it on
the trainride home and i thought "i've finally found the
music i've been searching for." the whole situation just
felt right...being on a train late at night, listening to
burningn'n tree....i love this album!

always sounded too dated for me, but i came late into this
musical scene.

listening to it now i thought, "hey, this sound like
something u-ziq would release now"

but then i thought, "do i even know what i'm talking about?"

i don't mean to distract from your topic nacmat, but...

i only own feed me and hard normal daddy, i'm curious to get
some more 'pusher, i really don't know why i have so
little...

what would you recommend? i've heard big loada is a good
next step (not sure which version, whatever i can find would
be good)

Cos i've played it to death, i freshen up what is really a
brilliant collection of ep's, by playing indivisual tracks
in my jazz, DnB and jungle mixes.

I found the vinyl last year and was chuffed to bits.

(is it pronouced "burning entry"? i usually sound spastic
when i mouth the "'n" - "burning nnnnnnnnn tree")

hmm, this is a bit embarrassing...by the looks of it i only
have tracks from 5-12, although the rest of them might be in
a big folder as well...and im not sure if i got the original
:) hmm

it's great to listen to the tracks individually, but don't
listen to the cd/album straight through! this is not really
an album, but a collection of previously unreleased and hard
to find tracks. early stuff, etc.
