okay, so, JAroen asked me to post this because he banned
himself because of his exams, he copy-pasted parts and
reconstituted the Squarepusher Squarewindow track, more
tracks to follow, enjoy! : )

The track is awsome. Nice that the Jenk-man are focusing on
melodies again.

holy shit!!! Amazing tracks!!!!!

Squarepusher is at it again!!

I really hoped for material like this, we are blessed with
dope music!

"he copy-pasted parts and
reconstituted the Squarepusher Squarewindow track"? what do
u mean? I hope to death this is the real thing and not a
Jaroen mix, because I was so happy to hear that it got a
strong melody and that the track is not another 220 bpm
drill acid break track, im kind of tired of that stuff. Not
that I dont like fast music but 2004 is a chill year for
sure! :)

Jeroen (waar?) dit : (16:01:56)

Jeroen (waar?) dit : (16:02:04)

i agree with joyrex 100% in theory. i hate that we steal
from the people we respect the most.

the only way i can justify stealing mp3's like i do, is that
i promise myself i'll go back and buy all the stuff later.

but, i know damn well i'm not going to, and that i'll roast
in the 4th ring of hell for it.

Who the fuck are you to come into this forum to judge us?
Maybe when your website is back up you can lay down your own
agenda on your own turf, but until then maybe you should
watch who you refer to as a sad fuck.

The files are there for everyone to listen to. JAroen
pasting the clips together so they are easier to listen to
only promotes the release further.

to be fair, when it is released on vinyl, someone would have
ripped it and it would be all over Soulseek or Kazaa.
I respect Joyrex for his moral standpoint on stuff like
this- the old BoC demo tapes for example, but to call us sad
fucks and robbers is a bit out of order. On Saturday I spent
53 quid on the music of Tom Jenkinson.

Wrong, cupie doll - it's theft, pure and simple -
JAroen is not "helping" anyone by doing this - if somebody
wanted to hear all of the tracks, let them click around on
the waveform for awhile. That's what it's there for.

And why can't I say what I feel here? Some Moderator or Phob
going to ban me and shut me up for speaking my mind? This is
a discussion forum, where anyone is invited to join and
speak their mind - I don't recall in the rules (are there
even rules?) where you cannot speak your peace.

Nobody shuts up anybody else when they insult me or my site,
do they?

I think I made my point.

That's great Key - I have no problem with Mp3s per se - I
just think it's sad and pathetic that someone would steal a
MP3 instead of buying and waiting for it, especially when
WARP was nice enough to go and allow you to listen to more
than just a certain portion of the track. I bet they limit
it to just 30 seconds only now because of this, and that's
what I really despise - WARP is trying to give the fans what
they want (and make a buck at it) and they still get shat
on....

seems to me that Warp has realised that cheap bastards
aren't going to pay anyway. the only rational solution is to
avoid crippling the service for those who are prepared to
pay.

this will probably get them more customers in the long run
anyway. I'm pretty sure they've already considered the
possibility for rips like these.

You can thank JAroen later when warp decides to pull the

plug on being able to listen to tracks because of this,

- So Warp Records never took this into consideration?
JAroens elite hacking skills are going to shut the place
down from the inside, eh?

You lot are a bunch of sad fucks... can't wait less than
two
weeks to buy it? You like Tom's music enough to kick him in

the nuts and steal it from him?

- The songs are on Warps website. They are not for sale.
Nothing is being stolen.

I don't recall in the rules (are there
even rules?) where you cannot speak your peace.

- Seems like there would be some unspoken respect where you
chose not to blatantly offend members of another community
buy calling them sad fucks. I partially agree with some of
the things you said. But that comment was just unnecessary,
and doesn't make for good relations between communities.

Well, I'm mad, because everytime an artist or label tries to
do something nice for the fans or something innovative,
someone invariably comes along and ruins it.

I doubt WARP will shut bleep down, but I wouldn't be
surprised if they took away the more than 1 30-second listen
ability. I imagine they ran through many scenarios (possibly
even the method JAroen employed) but figured nobody would be
that pathetic to stitch back together audio and then
distribute it.

The songs are for sale, they just won't be available until
the 26th - taking material from one site and putting it on
another without permission is stealing.

I think you know normally I don't like to argue about
something, but this just really rubbed me the wrong way, as
it was so nice to see Bleep finally up and the possibility
of exclusive music and the back catalogue finally accessible
for the fans like me.
