Happy New Years to all!

the first 2004 release i heard was Philip Jeck's new album
"Seven", i listened to it while i showered, before going out
to celebrate last night (so technically... but, well... it's
listed as a 2004 release right on the disk)... and it was a
beauty... i have a good feeling about this year...

it's fuggin wicked... you'll love it... it's actually a lot
more melodic than most of his stuff... (not that i don't
love his noisy stuff)... very beautiful

wonderful! can't wait
i actually just got his "host" album few days ago, i haven't
listened to it properly yet, but what i've heard so far
sounded excellent, + there's short vid of him recording,
should be fun watching what he does...

yeah... apparently host is now out of print, cause it wasn't
authorized or something... odd

i suppose... there's not much info to be found about it...
on Jeck's site it just says it's unauthorized, and the dude
who runs the record store i go to says that the release has
been discontinued...

Philip Jeck is a turntable manipulist... his work is kind of
noise-ambient.... very wicked...
