WTF, i know what a ATM machine is, but what the hell does ATM have to do with Ethernet!? I thought ATM was a term for something else because it makes no sense to have ATM vs Ethernet. Unless I'm missing something?

Asynchronus Digital Subscribers Line = ASDL = Not Synchronus = DOwnload rate will effect upload rate and thus not full duplex like SDSL.
BTW ATM uses 53byte "cells" instead of frames to forward data, I could go on but I'm just here to brag about my new OC-12 backbone coming.
