Look, here's the simple facts: My host has been having problems - I have not found out what it is yet. I'm sure it will get resolved as the company they host their server at is a top-notch company. Second, I pay (with the help of donations from boardmembers) 22.00USD per month to run watmm and the subdomains. Phobia pays USD99.00 per month to have a dedicated server, and he obviously has more free income to devote to it (I am assuming he's single, so unlike me with a wife and kids, his priorities and financial obligations are different). Until I can count on some source of income for the site to sustain itself, I will not move to a dedicated server (even though we really need one). I just don't have the funds available to foot a bill like that each month and I cannot count on donations to pay the way every month. |

My god people. you get an inch and want a frickin mile! if you paid a monthly service charge to go post at his message boards or to read articles there, i could understand someone getting upset. but when its free? be real. I think the only reason these guys do this shit is because of a true passion for the music they love. and out of the goodness of there theyre own hearts. we owe them a thank you. not a "when arent his fucking servers down!" or at the very least, if thats what you really feel, keep it to yourself. |
