i figured since it will be the first double-digit XLT Vibes comp, that it should be collaborations. (double the digits, double the artists) Every collaboration I've heard on this board as of late has been excellent and chock-full of wholesome musical goodness. anyone else think this is a good idea? |

you have to submit, and usually many enter. the tracklisting is selected from several entries..... oh wow... why don't i just put a big neon sign above my head that says "ANNOUNCING COMMON SENSE." :D the only barb with this idea, is would people be willing to collaborate? if it were a 20-track compilation of collaborations, you'd need at least 40 people working together. That's just to have a compilation, but to have a good selection of submissions, i'd say you'd need more like 100 people working together, at least. it's a challenge.... |

i've been thinking that i could limit the number of submissions per user to make it a level playing field for everyone, but that's a bit unfair to those who can't find someone who hasn't already teamed up, or to those who may make something better the day after they submit something. |
