Ditto, likewise. Still nothing to be ashamed of, MHTRTC is
nigh unbeatable. Geogaddi is a great album, but second
place.

OK, third... I like In a Beautiful Place more, as well. And
Twoism...

I've officially pooped your party.

It's really a great album, though i prefer "music has the
right to children".

Track 8 is the best!

Geogaddi myself...

mhtrtc has more songs whereas geogaddi has more atmospheres,
y´know mhtrtc is more beats. but i agree that mhtrtc is the
better one extremely beautiful and quite ahead of it´s time

What! Am i the only person on this geogaddi appreciation
thread who actually prefers geogaddi!?!

It flows so perfectly, and yet every track is perfect by its
self...gotta love gyroscope, julie and candy, a is to b as b
is to c, dandelion, you could feel the sky....heck you gotta
love all of it!

Dawn Chorus on Geogaddi. It gave the creeps once I was
really high. Even saw things on the walls. Cool track.

I like every BoC release aside from this and Twoism. To
think I bought the special edition CD too... I can't listen
to it, it's horrible

double figure Is shit :) whats this special edition cd? i
heard theres a limited edition version of geogaddi, but that
the cd was the same, it just had a lot more artwork
inside....

Same here - they sound completely different! And DF is
indeed a masterpiece, Geogaddi isn't fit to lick it's boots.

offline Bob Mcbob on 2003-11-06 04:18 [#00937101]

well df is like mhtr2c in that its trying to acheive the
same feelings in me, i agree its not similar in terms of
instruments (if im explaining that right)....

anyways geogaddi is one of the few albums that i keep coming
back to and listening to the whole album, mhtr2c i put on
when im in the mood for a particular song and well DF is
background music for me

yeah, MHTRTC and Geogaddi are totally different... a similar
style, but their both BoC, so that's expected!

i read somewhere they are going to return to twoism style,
more simple and "clean"...

geogaddi is ok, but mhtrtc is eternal...

i dont really like double figure, but i dont really like
plaid in general. they have really good single songs tho...

good evening...

yeah I heard that about going back to Twoism... they better
not do that, cause I'd be real dissappointed!

I've also heard they're doing something completely
different... so what do you believe? I hope the latter is
true, that it'll be completely different... I want to hear
something new from the guys...

It wasnt until about six months ago i actually started
liking the album as a whole. when it first came out, i didnt
like it. and then a few song grew on me. now the album is
all good. still not on par with music has the right...

What do you guys think of their boom-bip remix? i think its
great. just a bit short.

apart from that fucking Alpha and Omega track, which I can't
stand.

i hope it will be as different from geogaddi as geogaddi was
from mhtr2c...i dotn want them to stray too far from their
sound....

id personally like to see them push their sound to its
limit, how ae has...

im feeling the hell interface angle on stuff.

yeah, that's what I mean really... I want them to change,
but not drastically so that they lose what makes them BoC...
cause I love their sound, and each of their releases are
great, but it'd be cool to hear a new variation... and yes,
I thought Geogaddi was very different from MHTRTC... so what
tibbar said is what I really mean...

something like twoism I DO NOT want now...

offline tibbar from harrisburg, pa (United States) on 2003-11-06 08:41 [#00937470]

itd be like ae releasing the sequel to incunabula NOW... its
pointless, theyve evolved.

if geogaddi was lp5, i want to see them do their confield.

I prefer Geogaddi to MHTRTC, possibly because it sounds more
evolved and darker than their previous stuff. Or something.
It's also quite creepy in places, and I like that.

eXXailon > the feeling of the music... when i'm listening to
music, i like to have my mind wandering, travelling... i
can't explain concretely (maybe i could, if i knew something
about technical aspects of music!!), music can make me feel
like riding at 1000 miles an hour, or to fly in space among
nebulas and space jellyfishes, or in a strange place
underwater, or.... etc., but geogaddi just manages to make
me imagine a place in the country, walking, seeing normal
country landscapes, maybe with children and family (which
i'm not that fond of). i totally understand why it can make
some people remember their childhood, or why they called one
of their releases "in a beautiful place out of the country".
it sums the impression pretty well.
even other music that doesn't make me especially have
pictures in my head, even music that remind me of
real moments in life, still seem to "fly higher" than
geogaddi... geogaddi isn't bad, technically, but it just
seems to want to have me stuck to the earthly ground and
walk to a farm or something. ' _ '

shut the fuck up all of you, quit trying to measure one
artist to another....just appreciate the fact that they made
that shit....for you to listen and trip out on....so just
shut your asshole face. trying to review an artists work is
fucking shit, just accept it, don't bloody try to logically
deduct its genius

if you disagree, you are wrong.

uzim: see man, that's EXACTLY what I like in my music... I
like music to take me away to some countryside... I like
music to remind me of earlier phases of my life... etc...
also, there's times I enjoy music that takes me away to a
totally different place, but I do love music which just
makes me feel like I'm in a peaceful field... I guess my
main reason for loving music is because it can make me feel
happy, and peaceful... yes I love loud and aggressive music
too, but mostly I like more laid back and happy, upbeat and
peaceful music... just fits my personality more I guess...
