don't know if this has come up before, but i have a suggestion for how the message board works that would make things alot better for me at least. instead, or maybe in addition to having the page dropdown, how about having an input box for how many threads you'd like to see? or have arrows for "next page", "prev page"? it would make navigation alot more clear. |

navigation is not needed, richard told Phobiazero to have this messageboard, kaotic !! and now as the days go buy we ahve more and more members, and more and more shittier threads and replies so richards work is done. i love xltronic.com |

theres quite a difference between having chaotic content and having chaotic navigation. i'm just talking about improving the navigation. it seems like something really simple that would improve the board alot IMO |

You can set how many threads/posts per page you want. I agree on the other point though. |

you should write an email to tunemx, i believe he's the guy that could add the 'arrows' thingy. i think the whole set up for this MB makes it very easy to use, but a few lil additions might be nice! |

i would like to see a link to the discography inside a thread... if you are reading a topic and want to reference the xltronic discography, you have to exit the thread and click on the link from the mb main page.. ...pain in the ass |

know what would be sweet? kind of along those lines pomme... but instead... make it that the board automatically links an artist name to their respective page so if I was like "aphex twin is the best ever" the board would automatically make "aphex twin" a link to his discog but that would probably be really hard to do |

i would like to see a link back to the forum from the discography page. or a link back to the main discography page from anywhere inside the discography. that would be nice. |

This is kind of retarded. But I'd love more color schemes... not SKINS, per se... this board is mega hott. Perfect design. But I've fantasized about having some blues, some hot pinks, maybe a nice creamy white... some other colors in there, shakin' things up. Choose the color of the background (that tan-ish hue), the BACK background (the black/grey), the buttons, the links... oh man. It's not a knock on the default scheme, I love it and I'd inevitably go back to it. But sometimes I need a change. |

i think this message board is good except i'd like a "skip to page" on the main thread list, so you don't always have to go to the first 25 posts in a thread you can just skip to the last. |

actually, that will be implimented soon. the feature will be a link on the artists discography page(s) that says something to the effect of 'discuss this release in the fourum' then it automatically creates a thread with the topic title being that release. if a thread already exists about that release, then the link will reference you back to the thread that's already going.. be on the lookout for this feature soon. |

there is an option at the top of the thread that says 'display newest messages first" this will get you what you want |

maybe something like the inivision boards have where by the title of the topic there's a little arrow type thing, when you click on it, it takes you to the first post that you haven't read I use it sometimes |

we're working on some new features for this messageboard. just wait for them. maybe some solutions will be in the next version? as soon as the proper layout is applied to the site it'll get much easier to access various sections. navigation has always been of high priority for me, so no worries. when everything is on it's right place we'll have a look on it all (from above) and optimize the site as much as possible. i'm very well aware the site is currently lacking proper layout/navigation and believe me i'm the one suffering most from this. what's even better - summer is done here. fall is coming up. that alone speaks alot for xltronic and it's progress. *know what i mean... ey?ey?* ;-) |

we have quite an comprehensive TODO-list available for the Mods (it's non-official and tagged Top Secret), but im sure most of you would cream your pants if you saw it...... some really nice goodies/features there, along with the actual contents that will build Xltronic. add a nice userinterface/design to that and you should have a quite decent site to hang out on. |
