This is the one that's going around right now - I swear
I've gotten at least 30 copies at my Yahoo address today.
What a fucking pain in the arse.

Ya know though, I don't think I have ever in the 10 years
I've been using computers actually gotten infected by a
virus. I think I had some adware at one point though.

yep, tons of email at work (& a fair number at
home...)...been a slow build up over the last few months...

I've been using this from Symatec..
W32.Sobig.A@mm Removal Tool free ...

it'll check through all your HD and ensure you're not
personally infected...(I checked out ok..but from the state
of inbos, a lot of people aren't..)..

BTW...no real payload on this worm - doen't destroy data or
anything like that - but the email traffic does clog up your
connection (& the wider internet..)..

Wow, the number of these in my xltronic inbox is quite
scary! Luckily I have a primitive email prog which receives
emails as text only. Anything it can't understand is added
as an attachment. Plus I've written my own prog which lets
me preview emails or just see headers and let's me delete
them before downloading. These virus mails are dead easy to
spot. I've only ever had one virus in my life.

I just found 50 of them in my spamcatcher folder at Yahoo
mail - I guess they started filtering them into there
instead of the inbox - nice idea actually.
