 | Urrrrrgh no you do't unless you want to either become unhealthy or spend half your day organizing your diet
carefully to exclude meat while at the same time ensuring
you're getting all your vitamins (and no taking heaps of vit
pills doesn't cut it in the long run).

Do all teenage girls go through wanting to be vegetarian or
 what?

sorry, my sister did for a while and it pissed me and the
rest of the family (esp mum who had to cook diff meals for
 her alone) off a lot

 | I have good reason to want to be a vegetarian: Its healthier - proven fact
can prevent cancer and other problems
im not contributign to the killing of animals more than 45
billion animals are systematically killed in slaughterhouses
around the world each year (over seven times the human
 population!).

besides it wont affect my mums cooking or anything cause ill
have the same as them just veggie burgers etc instead of the
meat they have and when thats not suitible ill cook my own
dinner which i normally do anyway...

 | REFLEX: read more books.
Peleton: B12 is a bit tricky, but with some research that
can be fixed too. When you know what to eat, it?s nothing
difficult. Fact is that most "meat-eaters" dosen?t get all
the nutrients they need - they just believe they get em
 all...

But of course you have to do more than just stop eating
 meat.

Start reading books on the subject, anon - there?s a lot to
 learn...

 (btw - it?s r e a l l y hard to eat without any killing at
 all....)

I've been a vegetarian for 10 years now and I have had no
problems. and no, I do not take supplements.

just think of it likes this - you may miss a few small
amounts of other nutrients from meat, you'll also pass on
all the extra chemicals that have been pumped into the same
 meat.

 | Oh yes, and if you think about it. If you're eating all those vegetabes then you'll have to be careful there as
well. Bear in mind that there's a lot of field animals
killed when they harvest corn and such like. And non-organic
food has all those pesticides on them and that poisons
animals. Not putting a downer on something you want to do
just putting things to consider across.

Animals kill other animals and in far far less humane ways
than we do. You know what happens in the wild.

Having a balanced diet doesn't mean becoming a vegetarian
and that comes from someone who use to be. Not myself that
it is by someone I know. Generally its excessive sugar that
is bad for us. If you want to cut the fat content from your
eating just eat low fat foods such as chicken off the bone
and fish etc etc and cut down on high sugar content foods.
 And excercise is key too.

 | Yes, it's very important to find a substitue for all those delicious and important chemicals found in meat..

But hay.. have fun with it. There's no reason why
supplimenting should be a chore. Try eating a speedball for
breakfast, stash some heroin in your lunchpail for a mid-day
snack.. the important thing to remember is HORMONES.. lots
 of HORMONES.
