 | Had a discussion with a conspiracy theorist the other day. Check this out:

 http://www.prolognet.qc.ca/clyde/illumin.htm

This Adam Weishaupt really existed - I cross referenced with
some other sources. I know the religious over-tones are a
bit much, but it's quite interesting.

Apparently, we are in the process of creating the One World
Government right now. The advent of the "Euro" to replace
traditional currency, the UN exerting force over non-UN
countries.....the list goes on and on. Apprarently the
"world leader" has already been selected and lives in
Brussels primarily, though nobody knows his name.

A world-wide catastrophe such as world war or an
human-induced earthquake that would destroy vital technology
(i.e. Y2K...but we were prepared), would be necessary to
start the big wheels in motion.

 Any thoughts on this wackiness?

 | Well, Weishaupt might have chosen that date based on an EARLIER event ... so the banks etc. may not be basing it on
The Bavarian Illuminati, but on some earlier date... not
sure, haven't read up on the subject in quite a while.

Obviously, I believe there is a global conspiracy tho, it's
 the only rational explanation.

 | The English and the Welsh celebrate May 1st as a workers holiday. London usually gets completely fucked up on May
 Day.

In 2000 (I think) that statue of Winston Churchill was
covered in paint with a hammer and sickle and a green
 mohican.
McDonalds and similar multinationals were completely
 demolished.
This group of protestors calling themselves the Wombles make
their own body armour and shields and use them to charge
 through Police riot control units.

All good fun. 2000 was an excellent year. The only problem
IMO is that some cunt (I think the word is applicable) took
upon themselves to daub "MURDERERS" on the Senitaf - which I
think is beyond reprehensible and not keeping in with the
 spirit of the whole thing.
 Ah well, there's always one.

 | human nature to take control of others is not necessarily true. It may be educated into us, bred into us, just told to

humanity 'naturally' wants to take control over other
 people.

 | I think we should all be whacked on the head with a "humility" bat. It has been said in almost every world
 religion:

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

Simple words to live by. If everyone would heed this
paradigm we wouldn't be in this shit.

 | I guess everyone is afraid that they post to this thread, the conspirators might send a illuminati virus into their
computer which will cause the screen to display hypnotic
illuminati mesasges, that turns you into a slave killing
machine and eventually automatic self-destruct via
 subliminal suggestion of heart-failure.

 | The number quoted by Rockafella (144,000 people), is right out of the Bible. Unless he is Jesus, or is having direct
conversations with Jesus, or is fucking tripped right out, I
think he has a wild imagination. Jehovah's Witnesses throw
around the 144,000 people or "lambs" number alot too. Don't
really think they know what they're doing with it though.

The Bible is a book. Can I not interpret it myself? I've
never been too keen on organized religion.

 | Quoting Jack Van Impe from a biblical perspective:
 Consider Daniel 2:34 again:

"Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands,
which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and
clay, and brake them to pieces."

What, or better who, is the stone that smashes the image
when the ten Western nations have aligned themselves? Acts
4:11: "[Christ] is the stone which was set at nought of you
builders." First Corinthians 10:4: "And that Rock [or stone]
was Christ." Since 1948, we have witnessed an amalgamation
of Western nations in the form of the European Economic
Community or "Common Market." The movement began with
Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands joining in economic
alliance. Then France, Italy, and West Germany joined in
 1957. In 1972, three additional members—Denmark, England,
and Ireland—were received. Then, on January 1, 1981,
Greece became the ratified tenth member.

However, Ireland and Denmark were never part of the old
Roman Empire. What about them? The answer is simple. Daniel
7:8 states, "I considered the horns [at the end time], and,
behold, there came up among them [the ten] another little
horn [number 11!], before whom there were three of the first
horns plucked up by the roots." Once a ten-nation Western
confederacy has been formed, number eleven comes to power,
plucks up three of the first ten, and replaces them with his
own and two others. Later the majority of the globe is under
his control. This leader will be the world dictator and
 infamous Antichrist—the final global ruler.

The organization of the European Economic Community is
important because the first beast, or Antichrist of the Book
of Revelation, comes out of such an alignment of Western
nations. In Revelation 13:1, John says,

"I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up
 out of the sea."

The sea speaks of nations, and the ten toes of Daniel’s
image and the ten horns of Revelation 13:1 describe a
grouping of ten nations. Because this prophecy is now in the
 early stages of f
