Worst Movie Ever

What has been the worst movie you have ever seen?

For me not counting the shitty horror movies i have sat
through i'd probably say "24 hours in london".

Seriously who the fuck cast this movie? Preschoolers?
Dipshit acting. Poorly written script. I couldn't even sit
through the entire thing. I just had to turn it off. As if i
am supposed to believe that this "bitch" is gonna take out
like 30 cops with a shotgun. Gimmie a fuggin break.

I know "jeepers creepers" was dumb as ever but 24 hours in
london takes the cake.

I am still disappointed in this. I want my $3.50 back!!!

I have allways considered Independance Day to be one of the
worst.
Ok so there are a couple of cool explosions but the movie is
so stupid!!!
Lets give the aliens a computer virus!!
Hey wheres the president ? We need him to fly a jet
fighter!!
And the fact that it was so expensive to make makes it so
much more stupid then your average stupid movie.

Armageddon is the prototype ''bad movie''. Even as a popcorn
flick, it's total shit, I can't remember a single scene from
it except... a... flying rock.

How about "Nothing But Trouble?" A horribly unfunny movie
with Chevy Chase, Dan Akyroyd and John Candy -- such a
clusterfuck of weird ideas meant to be funny but just
aren't.

So terrible.... which is sad... because Chase and Akyroyd
have done far better...

I think most super big budget movies is horrible . There are
exceptions like LOTR tho.
The fact that you can spend so much time and money on
creating something like Godzila and the have a guy in a
helicopter say "I can't shake him!!! i cant shake him!!
..Aaaahhhrgggh!!...." is facinating.

Ehm....pull the helicopter UP !

O M G!! hahahaha i must see that movie =)
Leprechaun In Space! the title alone is priceless .

"One of the lesser-knowns starts pocketing the gold in his
helmet, a pretty poor decision since I'm relatively certain
that the previous scene showed an air supply attached to it.
More importantly that that, we all know that its not a good
idea to steal Lep's gold. There's no rainbow, so that whole
theory goes out the window. How does the Leprechaun respond?
He pulls out Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, and slices the guy
in half."

" The princess walks in front of the Marines and shows off
her stuff for no apparent reason. I'm not kidding - she just
takes off her tops and walks around spewing completely
nonsensical statements for three minutes before dissapearing
into the night. Even the Marines - who had previously spoken
to Leprechauns and cyborgs - are shocked that this
particular development. Its later explained that on her
planet, showing off tits is a death sentence. So I'd imagine
her homeworld is full of people committing all sorts of
crimes just for the hell of it. "

the movies that bother me the most are the ones that are
trying really hard to be good but failing miserabley.

some classic examples on wannabe movies: memento, insomnia,
and vanilla sky.

jack frost - the one with not michael keaton - it was
supposed to be a horror movie about a snowman who killed
people. fucking horrible. my brother and i tend to find
ourselves re-enacting a scene where a guy punches another
guy, but the sound effects were waaaaaaay too late.

that leprechaun iv review was classic!!!

you know, i watched that movie at a slumber party in 7th

when the snowman's carrot nose becomes his carrot dick!

Signs. So many people seemed to like it, so I watched it,
and it was some of the worst shit I've ever seen. Amplify
that by people who actually defend it's existance, and you
have my most hated movie ever.

Signs is good. I can't understand how anyone could say it's
the worst movie they've ever seen, except perhaps if they've
only seen 3 movies or something. Seems like a kneejerk
response.

Try sitting throught shite like the mexican western Quien
Sabe? and you'll see how truly shite movies can be.

Spoilers coming up about Signs:

It's not the worst movie I've ever seen, but the combination
of it being a VERY bad movie, and people seeming to think
it's actually good, that makes me hate it with a passion.

A movie like, say, XXX is obviously a worse movie than
signs, but everyone KNOWS it's bad. Signs pulled the wool
over everyone's eyes somehow.

It had a decent concept: focus on one family during an
invasion

and it destroyed it. The aliens were far from scary, totally
inconsistant in their levels of strength (I can jump onto
the top of a building in one leap but I don't have the
strength to kick a door down that even a human could break?)
... The fuckin water... Hello, the aliens were running
around in the fog at the beginning of the movie! You have to
be the stupidest Aliens ever to invade a planet made
entirely of stuff that kills you on contact.

Extremely obvious and retarded foreshadowing. Stiff acting.
The director casting himself in a role where all the main
characters stare at him in awe. Breaking the pace of what
COULD have been a tense scene by jumping back to an
"emotional" flashback about characters I don't feel emotions
about anyway... M. Night Shymalan (?) is the most overrated
hack of a director I've ever had the displeasure of
experiencing movies from. That's my story and I'm sticking
to it.

But again, it wouldn't be SO bad if the movies weren't so
widely accepted as good, I suppose. That merely accentuates
it.

I have no idea what you're on about when you say the
director casts himself in a role where all the main
characters stare at him in awe.

I don't recall any fog either, certainly no aliens running
around in any fog.

Anyway, it seems most of you points are picky, the kind of
things you could probably find in *any* movie.

one that really sticks in my mind is Matrix Reloaded. Thats
the worst recent film i've seen.

Worst movie ever? well I haven't seen that many bad movies
recently (i try and avoid them) though when i was in my
early teens i used to see really awful films like
Independence Day, Armageddon.

All the Bond movies since Goldeneye are bollocks, oh and Dog
Soldiers, a really lame British warewolf movie.
