Yeah abby! My ISP is starting this up this summer. The closer you live the faster the speed. I should be somewhere between 13 and 26Mbit. Even if I have to see it to believe it, it's a great improvement for me. I'm on 5Mbps now for about $60/mo. YAY! -P ps. URL to my ISP: www.bostream.com |

Well fuck the lot of you! I'm coping on a shitty fucking 56K modem. I connect at 44Kbps at best. There's no s=fucking sign of broadband in any shape or form coming to my area. So anyone complaining that their 2Mbit connection isn't quick enough can come use my fucking modem for a bit! |

I only got 2.5Mbps w BoStream and it doesnt look like we will get that service here ... yet. Must say I'm very satisfied with BoStream. No problems at all! |

Yeah Bonet (now Bostream) used to be a real secret weapon until they started to expand. I had two 2.5Mbit (iin5) lines for 498 kronor/month, while some people had to pay 375 for 512kbit at other ISPs. Then they raised the 5Mbit to 600kr/mo. Upload is 768kbit with the old Orckit modem. This VDSL sweetness will be bling-bling both ways. Cheaper too. -P |

What amazes me most is that the max capacity for this crazy VDSL shit is closer to 50Mbit! They don't provide that though. Not yet anyway :) -P |

we're switching from earthlink to sbc/yahoo in a few days i can get upto like 150k/s but usually for file sharing and shit it lingers around 20k/s (which sucks when you're downloading a 441mb file) |
