I figure a good way for all of us to unwind after the big
autechre remix competition would be to kick back and write
an ambient track for a new music maker compilation.

Rules:

* No rhythm section please. Try to exclude the use of
kick-drums, snares and other percussive elements.. lets go
for a minimalistic, drone-like quality.

* No tracks exceeding 6 minutes please.

* Have a means to make your song available for download
online.. zebox, etc.

* Deadline is this weekend

I will select the best tracks and mix them, then make the
final product available online.

Good luck, have fun.. and be creative! Everyone is invited
to participate and if you have any questions, please do not
hesitate asking.

why the fuck would we want an ambient remix competition when
most of autechre's tracks ARE ambient?! mostly every remix
is going to be, so why not tear it all down with some
straight up noisecore shit??

does it have to be something written specifically for this,
or can it be something already completed that fits these
specifications?

cort: Cheese? wtf?

ctrlaltdel: You are not required to participate.

Q: Yes, this is an important detail I forgot to add. Please
write an exclusive track for the compilation.

excessive I hope

:)

this is fresh. only JUST uploaded it .. hehe
was toying around with edit3 which i forgot to name. edit1
is a tad tongue in cheek.

ps: i've uploaded some old mepq tracks (keep in mind that
they are just looped ditties). but not up yet, as mp3.com
takes ages for that stuff to kick in.

but haven't really "put out" anything proper since pocthre.

pomme: can we use rhythmic ambience?... lets say its a very
ambient piece that happens to have some arhythmical sounds,
kinda like a boat tied at a dock bumping its oars... is that
cool???

"reteil wrek" and "tre vim" are the tracks, as "oc chime"

going away so i cant write anything else

cheers
