Why don't you keep "Marlowe bitching powers" to SS/email, eh? ;)
Jonesy, if it's US pilots flying them, they're probably drunk/cocking about doing practical jokes on board/not trained to use the nav. equipment/loaded with training bombs by accident etc.
so they probably will.

anti-war people are no more moral than pro-war people. You either want Saddam to "deliberately" continue his killing of thousands innocent people or we stop him, but in the process kill some people "accidently".
either way innocent civilians will be killed, I hate the fact that anti-war people think they are so much more moral than other people who agreee with the war.

lol, i must admit i'd rather just use ground troops rather than using bombs and missiles. Maybe the targets are threats to the ground troops though?

How is it sick? I'd rather the planes crash and lose those trained killers than innocent Iraqi civilains.
It is nothing but racist to value American and British lives more than Iraqis. The pilots have chosen their fate, the Iraqis haven't so I'd sooner see them live.

it's surprising the amount of pro-war people who have assumed that anyone anti-war is immediately pro-saddam... the majority of people who are anti-war are not pro-saddam - they merely believe that he can be removed from power without having to resort to "shock and awe" tactics or by blowing up citizens of that country -- I am against this war, but mainly because it is George W Bush who has instigated it. If it were truly a push for democracy I'd welcome it with open arms, but I don't believe that to be the case.

Ofcourse i am anti-saddam. And inspite of everything i will be happy when i hear the news that he is no longer in control.
But there are so many problems in the world, so many people are dying in so many countries. It's strange that suddenly freeing the people of iraq has become so important to the american government.
I can't help but thinking that Bush mostly wants to attack iraq as a sort of revenge for the terrorist-attacks on the twin towers (even though iraq had nothing to do with that!). If 9-11 never happened, i doubt this war would have ever happened, even though the situation in iraq hasn't been getting any worse since 9-11.... it's just that bush feels like he needs to get even. So if he can't catch osama, he'll take out saddam instead.
