Exactly! What's the deal with that? It should be entirely
incumbent upon the USA and UK to rebuild what they are
currently busy razing.

has it occured to anyone that a country's infrastructre
actually NEEDS govt buildings that they are so busy
destroying..just rebuilding those will cost hundreds of
millions unless Iraq govt bodies are expected to operate out
of tents...

"...unless Iraq govt bodies are expected to operate out of
tents..."

I suspect this may be the case.

it's all the part of knocking middle east back to the stone
age that the US media keeps promising I suspect...

entire population of iraq to britain's hotels & b&bs at the
taxpayers expense

It will be interesting to see how this situtation pans out.
I am pleased by the strength of the language that Chirac is
using in censuring the aggressors -- it gives me a perverse
pleasure to think of the uptight American right-wingers
getting their knickers in a twist over the fact that someone
would dare criticise their leader's methods and motives. I
think a lot of small-minded folk across the states will be
joining the group of morons who have decided to teach "those
darn frogs" a lesson by completely excising the word
"French" from their vernacular. Such a powerful display of
conviction and patriotism this is!

Such snide remarks and haughty sarcasm but not a grain of
substance to be found.

When did Blair say the UN was 'useless and
obsolete and pointless'?

Err, never.

Has it occured to you there's probably plenty of buildings a
new Iraqi administration can move into?

"don't ley bush take over the world damnit!"

*sigh* statements like this are really pathetic.

and especially the statement "no blood for oil" that always
makes me laugh.

lol

And they want to send back the statue of liberty to france
now :-p

"Members of the SBL feel that the Statue, titled "Liberty
Enlightening the World," can no longer suitably represent
the relationship between France and the United States.
"

I wonder if that will ever really happen? it seems
ridiculous... but then, so do freedom fries.

I doubt it. Most of the American population thinks it was
originally built by U.S. citizens anyway.

Who originally coined 'freedom fries'? Was it a congressman
in Ohio?
