That's funny you should mention because I think the next
theme is going to be Gay Cruise, which will encompass
both suggestions.

hey Phobia, will the mix be split into parts? with a
non-lossy mp3 transformation program you can do it quite
easy.

theo: yeah, i used the newer version

theo & sean: probably won't split it up. the whole thing
really is meant to function as an entity, splitting it up
defeats this functionality..

when I get home tonight, I'm going to split it up for
personal use.. so I can burn cds for friends and stuff with
the seperate tracks. I'll move it into my slsk shared after
that. you guys can get it from there if smaller files are
your only option.

'lossless..'.

HERE YOU GO
right click > save as

this is the large (56MB) Mp3 file. I hosted it on my site.
should be a ton faster.

***************
It will have to be taken down as soon as it gets
hosted on xltronic. I'm over my limit.

very impressive work - that doesn't sound amateur at all.

I like this idea of community compilation, that's very new
in term of collective art performance.

i love this whole community compilation idea! It's fun to be
part of something! Everyone comes together for something
they all love..... music.

That cooperation is beautiful!

offline str_ph from Cambridge (United Kingdom) on 2003-03-10 20:28 [#00589595]

Yep, and it's also new in term of modalities of creation.
The work is done in a short amount of time with specific
constrains but that's not like a live gig or a Dj mix.
That's also not like a label compilation which tends to be
more homogeneous.
Listening this mix I experience like a long road trip with
different sonic landscapes while I'm comfortably sitting on
my flying pillow.

I swear I took nothing but soda tonight.

d'oh, i should have read before i registered. I love the
concept.. to bad i missed out. maybe i'll catch it when #2
is made. I'm downloading it right now (the hi-fi one) and
will certainly host it as soon as i get it.

this goes for anyone who needs hosting. i don't mind
putting up space, my cable seems to go reasonably fast and
it's free :)
