Skinny created a topic a while back where he asked for autechrish music and i suggested funkstörung. he than contacted me via email and said he had no dsl and no time for buying cds. but he liked the music so much and wanted me to 'keep him in touch'. he wanted me to sell him cdr's which really is illegal cause i'd profit from that financially (in comparison to filesharing i mean). the email was in german so it's not really useful to post it here but i'd like to warn you: i do not trust this guy, he was trying to get me into something.
giginger mentioned that he also was contacted

you could have told him you'd send the cdr for free in which case you wouldn't profit... but still, it's a weird proposition. too weird. it's why you can't see my email address :D

Someone wanted me to do the same thing a while back. It wasn't this skinny person. They wanted cracked music programs and such on cdr. I told them to send me a contract signed by them saying that they would only use it for evaluation and would delete everything in a timely manner. I never heard back.

Oh, and always remember, those bastards at the RIAA are quite sneaky at times. Not very smart, but sneaky. I'm sure they have spies on all the major p2p networks. In some cases it's good to be paranoid. If you've got more than 2,000 copyrighted songs shared be careful. They are getting desperate to prove people who dl music are evil pirates. Read there website for godsakes.

Yes, the RIAA have sent me satellite photos proving that I am an evil pirate. I am currently in court proving that the parrot on my shoulder landed there of it's own accord. I used to share about 12000 copyright tracks until I felt bad on the artists (my hard drive broke) now I share a lot less.
Anyone want to send me CD-R's of the latest movies and music, email me at countercopyrighttheftdepartment@riaa.org

it's very hard to get arrested for doing shit liek selling cd-rs.
if you want to get in truoble, go bomb up some trains, or do a wee in a public place (haha funny stories), or make sweet sweet love to someone in the backseat of a cop car after you smashed the window to get into it.
(btw "bomb up" does NOT mean "blow up")

i was curious what you lot thought of it cause dealing with copyrighted stuff is still something different than sharing it on slsk. at least in austria the latter is legal and they can do nothing about that. i do actually think that there is something very wrong with this guy but i doubt he will use this alias again.

I should not be paranoid about it, cause I don't dl much at all really...If you compare to others that have the entire cd store in their folder.
