Vintage British Techno!

So guys, instead of discussion which countries you just
fucking hate (??!!), let´s get back to the good old days of
electronic music:

Which are your favourite British techno acts?
Mine are off hand:
* N-Joi(remember 'Adrenalin', 'Malfunction' and 'Mindflux'?
Awe-fucking-some!!!)
* Prodigy ('Experience' rocks the big one!)
* Baby D ('Deliverance' still finds its way to my turntables
then and now)
* Altern8 (THE SPIRIT OF ´88!!!)
* NRG ('Feel the Fury'!)
* 808 State ('Ninety' opened my eyes)
* The KLF (well, 'What Time is Love' and 'It´s Grim Up
North' are killers. I found "The White Room' a bit of a
letdown)

On the subject of old skool, anyone know where I can get a
copy of the famous "aciiieed!" and "woo-yeah!" samples usd
in 90% of old school techno? I want them at CD quality wav
with no other backgound noise if possible. Cheers.

It was funny when the music industry started making those
fake ass rave tracks that turn up on old school compilations
now. Where is Bonzai and Ultra sonic? I don't think 'Time
for trumpton' and 'smart-e' count as rave more like packaged
pop rip offs. Remember the real old school not the charts
crude interpretation.

The rhubarb and custard theme remix (and the bubble bobble
one) were great "commercial rave" though :)

Ceri JC, I have got the Acieed shout pure in an acid-megamix
from that time, but I hardly think you could get your hands
on that old boiler!
Check out different mixes of D-Mob´s "We call it Acieed".
You could get lucky!
Where is the "woo-yeah" shout heard?

Spikee Dragon, 'Trip to Trumpton' is nice! 'Smart e´s' was
crap! But that´s about it for crap pop tracks!

I remember buying The Old Skool Masters album by Ratpack and
Nicky Blackmarket which came out in 1998 for a friend who
decided he wanted to get into early Techno and Drum'n'Bass.
He loved it, I thought it was OK, end of story.

Worth a peep though.
