well...
It's the story of a guy (Jhonny Deep) who goes to the west
(it's a western) and how he dies. Black and White movie.
Soundtrack by Neil Young composed old style (live while
watchin the movie). Love the character of the indian guy,
Nobody.

I rented storytelling the other day, turned it off after half
an hour, didnt like it.Seemed like it was trying to do
something different,but wasnt,ive seen happiness,which is a
very good film, storrytelling i thought was quite embarassing
in comparason, the guy who plays the dissability kid was
quite laughable[bad acting,reminded me of adam sandler].I
probably should of watched it all,but it just seemed like
one of those films that thinks its better than it actually
is.
neil youngs music in dead man annoyed me,just a bunch of
irritating guitar noises, good film though--pretty horrible
when he crushes a mans skull with his boot.Half-Baked is
your typical stoner movie, passes the time.
Battle Royale is brilliant, and so is Memento & braindead,so
get these films first.
The best films ive watched recently would be[apart from
lotr]mulholland dr.[madness],in the bedroom[good acting]and
probably a few others, doesnt seem to be many good films to
rent.:(
I want to see shaolin soccer, nearly went to see dog soldiers
at the cinema,looked quite funny.

more the fool you then, hehe, only joking,i just thought the
music took away from the film, and nipped my head.
dont let me disuade anyone from watching the movie,or buying
the soundtrack[i wouldnt personally],if irritating guitar
noises in the back of a weird ass black and white movie is
your thing,:)D

The Bjork ref on the other thread reminds me of Dancer in
the Dark. Quality film.

yeah jeepers creepers is just stupid
i think they should use a serial killer not a silly monster

offline jonesy from Lisboa (Portugal) on 2002-08-16 13:18 [#00352307]

The speed of that truck gave it a realistic edge aye?

If it was a serial killer, I would certainly liked it. A big
Charles Manson, cool, but now, i began to laugh when I
noticed his face and wings... It was like skeletor but
without He-Man... It was funny, but it ruined the movie.

the ghost dog sound track is good,i bought it but i wished
it was the soundtrack AS in the movie, still good
though.Brilliant film as well.:)
Jeepers Creepers was alright, did go a bit shit, the ending
sucked shit through a tube up my anus into a machine that
sprays it over my town, giving a lovely picture.Well,it was a
waste of time anyway.
