2 words, open source. Free software, why not free music?
They say dont steal creativity, then why make us pay for
it?

Dont get me wrong, I still support the artists I download, I
buy their CDs, vinyls, posters, T shirts, etc.

How about........

Music that is made on pirated software? Can you name 1
'artist' that hasn't used copied programs? Aphex,Ae,
BOC,Mike P etc etc will have all used pirated software down
the line...

But that's another argument...

People who download a lot of music are definately hurting
the artists and the labels, that's just obvious. People
should try and buy CDs/Vinyl, hopefully it's not the main
motivation for the artists/labels but it's a give and take
thing....

Richard Devine was amazing at some of the other shows, I
really like how he does the 'IDM' thing but he can still
rock it and get people dancing. Vibert is cool, actually he
had a hard drive full of every House/Techno/Acid/D'n'B etc
Mp3s, there is no way he owns all of those originals.

Hope you are well Ben!

happened by now

so its never gonna happen
